My character is permanently at level 1

If I talk to the Valkyrie, she just gives me experience until I roll over into negative experience, I never actually gain levels though.
If I try to level off of a monster, it gives me the experience, but it also does not force my experience to be applied toward level gain.
I do not have an experience bar (similar to being at level 150), but the problem is that I am level 1.
I have 2001 HP and 1 SP.
Please assist me.

If I use the valk to come back into positive experience, I just go to level 1 and 100%. (Like being level 99)
If at that point, I kill a poring, nothing happens.
If at that point I use the valk more, it'll just give me experience until the numbers roll over into the negative again.

This is not a renewal bug.

Delete and remake. It only takes 5mins.
This is not a renewal bug.
It's not, but I still find it interesting.
Would it be possible to cause problems if you gathered enough post-99 experience on your character to make it roll over and then use a skill that requires having experience?

Although, I've never run into the problem of not being able to level up. I blame the weird new level cap (technically, the max level's still 99 until you become a 3rd class since 3rd class characters are the only ones that can go 150).

Also forgot to use my trans skills on another char and when the valk changed me to 3rd job she wiped the 69 job points i had, which didnt come back with a reset so that was another delete (fun being lvl 50 3rd job with 98 TOTAL skill points )
Not real issues and definitely not worth the time to fix, but maybe handy for future Sakray reference.

Technically, you can make low level second classes as well. (Done it myself once with a level 30 assassin.) It's just that the game is programmed to prevent that by not allowing you to job change if you're not at the required base level. It's only through the test servers (Sakray and Yggdrasil) that we can bypass the restriction and make higher class characters at lower base levels.

You can also make low lvl Tranz 2nd class. My HighPriest was lvl 9/1.

He was stuck at 2k HP and 600 SP on a Royal Guard. I watched him level up at the Valkyrie from a Novice and he wasn't skipping any classes. I'll ask him about it and have him report the issue. He ended up remaking the character, I don't know whether or not he deleted the glitched one.

whoa, RO is real life?
I do believe he means on a live server during practical and long-term intentionally arranged gameplay, instead of on a temporary test server environment with impractical avenues for advancement that work incongruent to intended design under normal intended or otherwise realistically available circumstances.
But I am sure you knew that.
