Never need people pay for a tank, heal slaves yeah... but it could be true on the new server once players start reach level 9x.

nope.....why pay someone else to tank when all you have to do is buy a rudolph hat.....
i have been cheated like a 100 times when i did the heal slave thing......
even when ppl go to ET they wanna keep party small to maximize profit so they get a sura with ele armors,alice valk shield.....

Heal slave is someone that follows you around and heals you.... I remember paying 200k-500k an hour for one. ET is endless tower.

Damn AB's have it good, they are wanted at TI's and now this lol.. Btw is anyone doing the new TI? there is never anyone there when I go there. No parties nothing just mobs and mobs of imps and scarabas. Found it relatively hard to complete it.

im not sure but ppl made scarab 2 grind parties and they got almost like 90m exp/hour.....awesome times
with dragon breath you will be the king of the bugs....

It has been about 6-7 years since anyone paid a non-support class for slave/tank of any sort (renewal, that means priests. pre-renewal, scholars could also make money slaving, since there were maps hard enough that you needed it there). Paid tanking (ie, by something that can't also heal and buff) was only ever done really early on (when there was a desperate shortage of priests) and was for really weak newbie chars.

Just make sure to set the item on each take whenever you get a heal slave in ET.... I had one loot a carat card once and he just tele'd away..... lol

There was a ranger once ask ppl to leave offer for recruiting him in TI party, I went into the chatroom and ask him why and he said his buying arrow using money lol..

Though If I would pay someone to do something I want them to be effecient, not like I will waste money paying an AB that forget to buff need to be reminded always or slow on healing
or paying a ranger that will need Sp break every 5 minutes xD

So yeah, if u need ppl to pay u make sure u are good enough or worth it

There was a time that I did receive pay for tanks and heals on my crusader back in the day. It was generally for alt classes like rogues, sins, and hunters. I was cheaper than a priest.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone advertising their tanking skills before, so if tanking skills by knights/saders were ever sold, it was probably before my time.

Back when I first started playing RO a few years ago, it was usually healslaves that people wanted, and I particularly remember wizards/high wizards parked outside CT with chats up looking for priests to either healslave them, or party with them in general. Priests could make some quick money back then. I remember people used to pay priests/monks/acos for warps to certain places like Louyang too (can't remember the last time someone came up to me a politely asked if I had a warp to "insert-name-of-some-place" and they would pay me 1K for the warp). Come to think about it, priests were pretty good tanks back then, so maybe that's why there weren't many people looking for knights/saders to tank for them.

Yea, I only helped priest rejects.

Some heals is better than no heals, especially when you are dependant on NPC loots for pot money.
