I just started playing and i was wondering if you can mail items/zeny to your other characters?I tried a few times but it kept telling me character doesnt exist.

You can't mail to other characters on the same account.

You don't need to mail items to your alt characters if they're on the same account. Simply deposit them in your Kafra storage--it's shared between all the characters on an account. To handle zeny transfers, you'll need to do one of two things: either get a trusted friend or guildmate to help you transfer zeny from one character to another, or else make a secondary account for that purpose.

Heh. Go secondary account, of the practical variety, merchant to sit afk and vend is a second client window when you are playing your main characters and double as a zeny transfer service when needed heh.

When I first came here I suggested fixing it, it's been suggested since the beginning of the game, if they could change it they would change it.

Too many factors rely on kRO fixing it on their end and iRO doens't have clearance to fix or even try to fix it themselves. I mean this for every other suggested change, not just having a Kafra Bank.

select name and password for new account
login to new account
create novice
get out of novice training grounds
start a 2nd RO window
login your normal account while still logged in on your new novice

Transfer items/gold etc.

ooh my dumb, sorry. what i don't understand is why they won't let you mail it to another char on the same account that's kinda dumb. unless maybe the game can't tell there are other chars on that account when you are logged in on one.

Its a really stupid problem to which there are many easy fixes that should have been implimented long ago.
Like zeny tickets that are buyable and tradable, not only solving the zeny transferring problem but also (as much as I hate for there to be a "fix" for) the zeny cap.

Mabinogi and trickster both have this, and if a game as terrible as trickster can do this then so can RO.

yeah if its on ymir its a little tricker.. unless your willing to dish out the 1 time vip cost to have the riliability of a safe method of xfering

i like that idea a lot better than being able to mail zeny to another char on the same account. you could just storage those and any alt char that needs zeny could just get one out of storage. also it stops you from having to mail anything because we've all seen what can happen with the mail system.
