If you're a party leader or you're somewhere near the top of the party list, you can also troll arch bishops with it, since (just like a mechanic in a mado) it'll prevent other party members after you in the party list from getting healed by Coluseo Heal.

The player character remains neutral property still I think, your armor just becomes undead.

Incorrect. Your armor type changing actually means that cards and equips for vs that armor (example : Vadon card vs a pasana carded armor wearing player) do work.

Ive seen that to be true in pvp. Reductions didnt apply when tu was cast,

This is correct in PVP, but not WoE.

Also Provoke will not work on you if you are undead property (or did they change that?)

Correct.

Death Valley? It's a common Wanderer/Maestro skill ._.

It can resurrect regardless of the circumstance. Well maybe not someone in Hell's Power status... but it does ignore Evil Druid card as it's not exactly a "Holy Type" resurrection.

kaziel..

Hell's Power is a pain ....

but dont know if either work to aleviate it. did any one test death valley or kaziel against hell power?

TU/Ress has a max dmg it can do on undeads, same for players this dmg depends on caster stats/gears. with high reductions wont kill the ED user but the dmg it takes is very different from the skill "fail"

In WoE TU is also subject to WoE skill reduction.

According to irowiki, and everything I've ever experienced in the game, TU, if successful deals the amount of damage that the monster or player has in remaining HP. Every now and then I see it do double on monsters, though I don't know why. Either way, I have never seen a person survive a successful TU. Of course they'd survive if TU failed, but that should be obvious.

As for TU and Res only able to deal a certain amount of damage; that's also something I have never heard of before, nor have I ever experienced that. So far as I have seen in game, if the monster is undead property and is not boss flagged, it will die instantly on a successful cast of TU or Res, regardless of how much HP it has.

I'd be more than happy to test out, since it'd be interesting if I was wrong to figure out why the skill doesn't work according the the skill description. It would certainly be something to send up to kRO to revise however they see fit.

Ya whoops, its remaining hp not max.

I do not have fraps atm but I assure you, it's livable. perhaps I will make screenshots after I finish this round of mvp instances

Mmm TU changed since pre-re here are the results.

It does 150% of your current hp, ignoring demi reducts.

BUT.

It is affected by WoE Reduction, so it always does 90% of your current HP in WoE.

hello, i didnt want to start a new thread, without asking here first =)

since we are on the topic of dual element armor, could someone calculate for me what a fire elemental armor socketed with a bathory card reductions would be?
that would be a fire/shadow element armor.

i am currently a low lvl gx, trying to nogg, and i get pwned pretty hard. so im thinking a fire/shadow armor, with another 20% neutral reductions from other gear, would give me pretty good survivability to mob and rolling cutter stuff to death.

am i right in thinking this?

or is it a waste to socket a bathory card into a fire armor.

thanks for the help!!!!

do u think a shadow or fire armor is more useful in nogg 2?

i think the nightmares smack the hardest there?

Fire armor is what you'll want. There are a LOT more annoying fire property attack there than what Nightmare Terrors do. Blazzers arguably deal the most magical damage down there, and their fireball sucks pretty bad at lower levels if you don't have fire resistance. Shadow Strike isn't really as big a deal.

Only problem with copying some of the priest spells is you have to survive them first. No point if you get killed in the process of a priest nuking you with it.

The odds of running into an ME Priest in WoE are slim, and actually walking in on an ME are slimmer. I've only caught one SOB wearing an undead from all the times I've laid down an ME on the off-chance of nailing someone. That was rather funny how quickly they switched off the undead armor.

No it never changed and they never healed you.

In RO you can completely negate damage from elements, but you can't absorb damage to heal yourself.

I'm rather sure that's not true :o
I remember using ED armor in Sphinx 5 and using Anubises Dark Soul Strike to heal myself up, in both iRO and jRO.
And I don't have any proof on this one, but I'm quite sure I remember using ED armor to run into Poison Kill skill of Sorcerers to heal myself :o

Also I have bunch of videos pre-renewal where casting Jupitel Thunder on Wind element monster and them getting HP back from it :/

Sorry for bringing up old post, but I was trying to look for information about which patch this was changed in :o
