With the CBT over and all of us eagerly awaiting OBT. I thought it may be fun to discuss different builds for the current way the classes are. Who know if or how they will change in OBT but for now lets talk about builds for RvR and for PvE.
Do you have a favorite class and a way you like to build it?
Lets Discuss.

Well, I believe I was the strongest Mage in CBT, so I'll give my two cents on how to build a Mage.

For speed leveling, pump int to about 100 base. Then pump Wisdom, to about 60. Pump another 100 into Int, and made Wisdom about 130base by level 40. Your Int should be in the 200+ for base.
For leveling purposes, I used Lightning to speed level from 8-12, after that only use fireball. Even when you fight, lets say Centaurs who are fire res, Fireball does the most DPS. Level up fireball as much as you can, and primarily use that for leveling purposes. AOE is completely useless for the first 40 levels let me tell you that right now. You cannot tank more than 3mobs. You are also spamming your pots, since aoe, + the tanking will eat both your mana and HP pot. From what I've noticed, fireball spam is just as fast, if not faster. The aoes mages get are too low dps to use over Fireball. With the build I do, there is nothing hard for you to do. All dungeon runs on Normal are easily soloable, and no mobs are hard to fight at all.

The other good part about this build, is that it fits great for PVP. Since in PVP doing poison, and cold arrow is literately a waste of time. If no pots are being used, fights take generally 20+secs to finish. Fireball at level 40(if you get the cast time reduction) will have a 1.5 cast time. Using this, over anything else is better because, it does more DPS than any other skill you can use, and it is fast. There are other obvious skills you want to get. Anything passive, or anything that buffs is worth getting as well. The magic def buff, and the phy buff is worth maxing. You must get bitter cold, it is essetinal in slowing down rangers from silencing you, and stunning you, on top of that it makes Warriors complete paper to you, since it gives a 90% slow. You also must get the skill that makes you invulnerable for 5 secs. This is great to use, for PVP and PVE.

Acceleration is a great overall skill. You can buff your allies with attack speed, movement speed, as well as phy dodge. For PVP purposes, this skill is great for kitting warriors, and rangers trying to get next to you to silence you. Pop acceleration, get somewhat close to them, pop bitter cold. Get a bit away, and spam fireball him down. Right before he is about to silence you, pop your invulnerable skill, and the silence will be wasted.

You can get w.e other skill you want, but for both PVP, and PVE, I only used Fireball, bitter cold, the buffs, and acceleration. DO NOT GET IGNITE, probably the dumbest move I made in CBT. It is not worth the Skill tree points, as the dmg it does is small. If you didn't have to spend skill tree points, than by all means get it, but IMO not worth skill tree points for Ignite. If you have problems with bosses, dungeons or mobs. Slow down and pick them off 1 by 1. Do not try and tank more than 2 mobs, you'll just get owned. The whole point of this build is to not get hit. I was 1-3 shotting mobs. If they hit you, its only 1 hit. Obviously on fire res mobs, they'll hit you more than once. In PVP, if you get silenced, stunned, or CC'd, you are probably dead in a 1v1 scenario. This builds ops for the most damage, and for defense it all comes down to your PVP skills.

I don't know much for after level 40, but the AOE's seem meh, and the only skills I am wanting is, the 3 sec stun, 5 sec silence, and 10 sec aoe fear. Though a 10 sec aoe fear is completely broken, and I expect to be fixed.
The big, big DPS skill we get is like level 70. Its 600% your weapon damage, + 7000 dmg. No other skill comes close to that DPS, other than I believe the clerics dot, but since a DOT can be removed by cleanses, it doesn't compare.

If you play it correctly, and do this build the way I said. You can solo everything. (Obviously not expert Dungeons close to your level, as you'll just get face rolled.)
Obviously, for a mage you want a staff, and get one without any CD reduction. This will give you more DPS, and since you don't need CD, because your main skill is fireball which has a 0 CD, you won't need a CD reduction staff.

For attribute builds, mine worked completely fine for me. Though, I am opting to pumping less Wisdom and more INT, since Manga regen is completely useless. Pots easily cover that. Only perk of it, is the crit. It is up to you if you wanna go like a 3-2 Int, Wisdom build, or a 4-1, Int wisdom build. VIT is useless, you aren't suppose to tank, and if you are, you are doing something very wrong.

In terms of gear, get Int, and wisdom attributes on your gear. Magic crit hit, is nice as well, but attributes are far better.
5 Int gives you 2% magic dmg. I had almost 100% magic damage in CBT when I was 40.

That's the best advice I can give, for people going mages. I'm not sure what other skills we'll get from the skill trainer past 40, but as for the skill tree, I'm only going to get he CCs, + the big dps skill. AOE, as I said before. Kind of useless from what I could see in CBT.

I think it was too eairly to actually talk about builds because the highest lvl you could get to was lvl 40, and we cannot tell you how the rest of the 60 lvls could go. and you might think up to lvl 40 was enough to talk builds on stats but it isnt i knew a game where the first couple of lvls the stats didnt really matter, and all you had to do was pump it into one stat to get the highest damage and what not, until you got toward endgame and to get the most out of your class you had to actaully get more than one stat and most people had to get a stat change because they only put it into one stat

rangers should go str and agi (even though most people will say only agi)

2 str 3 agi should be good, because str will increase your attack damage (agi does this also thats why people say only go into agi but hold on) but it also increase the max output a crit can give

agi will give you attack damage dodge and the amount of times you will crit (the probabilities of criting)

but if your going to focus on daggers (above is archers) it should be 1 str 4 agi, since you would want to dodge alot plus get alot of crits, it wont matter if the crit is low because of the dagger skills (it gives debuffs and stuns allowing you to kill your op in differnt ways than the archers do)

I think i was a pretty good Cleric so... I am going to put 3 into vit 1 into wis and int, I just don't see wis or int being useful while i was playing, So i rather go tanky! as far as talents go i haven't a clue beyond 40

well i was only lv 28 warrior due to the fact that during the last few days of cbt i couldnt access the computer but what i did as warrior is basically just raised the constitution and strenght stats rather than the others. However being a warrior is tougher than mages due to the fact that without mages in your party especially by the time you get to later levels you can die easily especially when like 4 monsters gang up on you and all are at mid levels. excamples im talking about are golems, tiger things, as well as the wasps the harder versions and the goblins as well as a bunch of other creatures..... and to complete some quests especially in latter stages you have many monsters attacking you, as such if you play as warrior make sure you team up with a cleric or mage so that they can eiher reive you or heal you when you die. Plus with them youu can help them finish thier quests earlier and they can help you finish your quests.

Mage 5 intelligence with vit/agi/int/wis/pdef on gear. Simple as that. I could post a pic of my skilltree at level 100 ;) .

Bow ranger 2 str 3 agi
dagger ranger 5 agi
Heal cleric 5 wis
DD cleric 1 vit/agi 4 int
warrior DPS 1 vit/agi 4 str
warrior tank 1 vit 4 agi

Quickest way to level is Full int and using fire traps (if they still exists) and grinding map boss while switching channels.
