I come from a very extensive MMORPG background, and my guild and I will be moving to Requiem now. I naturally, being the "Warlocky - Shadow Mage" player, leaned toward the Soul Hunter.

My questions:

What build do I want to do? I am PvP obsessed, and rolling on the PvP server for the sake of some world pvp hopes. I tend to lean more toward the "Dot em up, kite em up" style of play. But, I do love my pets too so I have no objections with that. From what I've read, I think I'd enjoy defiler more than dominator, but I'm not certain.

Where should my points go, and how do I spend my DNA? I will be leveling with a friend exclusively for this character, logging out when he logs out, logging in when he logs in, etc, and he is playing a Warrior if that makes a difference.

generlay stay away from Pets.
they are a bunch of retards with crap AI. Best used to soak up damage and to set off traps.

Defi sounds like its your best option.
