There has been clammer about a Mr. ROSE 2012 and I'm all for it but I won't want to create it or run it at all. If you guys would like to do a Mr. ROSE 2012, please send me a PM of your idea of how it would go, prizes, contests, and all that jazz.

Funny thing is, most of that happened when Yuki and Elfy ran it. Top 10 contestants were given the IM bouquets, the final event was live in game with limited audience (was in the ballroom), there was an unbiased panel of judges selected for the final round, the final round consisted of girly questions as well, and pretty sure the voting was similar to what you suggested for the first 2 rounds. I think this Ms. Rose would have gone much better if they had planned it similar.

yes, most of ideas came from Yukis/Elfs version (I was forced to listen about that event and many other stuff for years)

Mr Rose (old Yuki's idea):

1. players apply (unlimited number of players as long they are guy characters)

2. round 1 - walking marathon on dolphin island - no buffs or gear or stats should interfere
- if someone tries to run - he's out
- race should last 5-10 laps (need to test and decide on amount)
even if everyone walks slow there is a lot of map bugs so if someone is trying for shorter path can get stuck and stay behind
i tried that and sometimes difference in 1 lap can be 20-50m

3. round 2 - selected ones (number of maps = number of contestants) get pre-made accounts with characters lvl 1 and teleported on some empty map (loading screen tree house map?)

- GM spawns a bunch of noobish mobs and they have some limited time (or limited amount of enemies) to kill them all (if possible disable drops)

- this will add some balancing differences depending on how fast they kill, and how they distribute their stats

- once they should be around lvl 10-15 or so this part of event should stop

- need GM help also in case someone DC and if he/she will need to be teleported back to that special map

* they will not have access to any other map to prevent possible gear trade/shopping/cheating

4. round 3. - now this is the hard part - need empty pvp map for that - I hope there is some map we can use - in worst case maybe you can make some ring type of map - I hope its possible to make one ?
** dance hall map could be used or some faction house - with "boxing ring" model added in center of map?

by the draw they are selected in brackets:
player 1 vs player 2, player 3 vs player 4, then winners fight etc

each of them gets boxing suit set for noobish pvp duels (wont last long and it will be fun to watch)
!!!! it would be awesom to have INTERNET RADIO FOR LIVE BROADCAST during PVP AS WELL AS DURING FIRST PART - RACE!!!!!
or in worst case you can use teamspeak/ventrilo or in even worse case you can just record some cool sports announcer and have some interesting videos for youtube

5. winners of all matches get some special rewards - retextured superfighter suit? and custom made "weights" - dual weapons + matching emote skill

6. round 3(version2)
global deathmatch or shall we call it - last man standing - same fighting style as in round 3 - no weapons, ony boxing set except this time everyone fights everyone!(
cash, items, whatever)

3b round should be sponsored from money donated from players (money goes to GMs, instead winner gets some item(s))

those "temp accounts" will be unaccessible between "rounds"

also, in case it's happening in some map with gallery expensive tickets can be sold to rich players who want to watch these matches live (more money sink!)

I don't know if betting is legal but it might add some extra fun/income

I can help with some stuff /rewards, additional map models etc/

** there is still lots of room for improvements in this idea but it was mainly put together so level or class restrictions would not be a problem, to make it fun for both participants and audience

biggest problem will be finding right time for event since it is "live"

Wow, I was really looking forward to the announcement. I worked so hard to get my candidate elected. Guess I will just have to wait until tomorrow. I am one of those adults, that have to get up early. >.<.
