For some reason on the classic server, a lot of mobs appear to give drastically reduced experience. The following monsters only give 1 base 1 job experience:

Poring
Drops
Picky
Super Picky
Condor
Chonchon
Willow
Ant Egg
Roda Frog
Lunatic
Pupa

Thiefbugs (Gives 1 job exp)
Thiefbug Egg (gives 1 job exp)
Rocker (Gives reduced exp)

Is there a reason that these things monsters are nerfed to complete pointlessness? My guess is that at one point in the past, the GMs nerfed it to prevent bots from leveling up fast, but... for a new server, it's just silly.

It's hindering players more, but it's not like those are the only monsters in the game. We already got a couple of level 60+ people out there.

Well yeah, I'm just saying, I was going through some maps on a new character and they all give 1 exp... I wanted to get lucky and find a condor card or something, but I can't justify hunting something that gives no exp!

Thiefbugs only give 1 job... thiefbug eggs only give 1 job... my dream of vit tanking mobs of thiefbugs at low level are dashed. What's up with this :/

So... a server launch with instability, missing content, a maintenance already, messed up spawns, messed up exp values, and item description bugs?

Is this pre-alpha or what?

Can anyone confirm if item share is broken or not? I'm partied with someone and it's on share but I'm literally getting every item I pick up.

Why doesn't it work? Why would they launch the game with this many fundamental features broken? I don't understand.

Not to mention monster spawns NOT where they were. I haven't found GGs + EWs near Payon for lowbie archers / mages / swordies with a lance. I know those were around in early 2005 ( I.E. ~the time frame the server is supposed to be set in) because I leveled my first sader on them as a knight. I don't remember spores ever being in payon caves even in the beta days.

Man, I have a feeling the GMs are making a big mistake.... big surprise there <.<

Whats next no gaos in louyang? Heim already said he doesn't really want geos by einbroch.... heaven forbid mages / archers get downtime on same braindead monsters...

this server its supose to be way older than that, this is the current server database:

its even older than crusaders, its older than when you started to play, i think its from october 2003? or maybe sooner iam not sure right now

and iam loving it, so nostalgic that i am almost crying :| and called my ex-gf from back that days so we can talk about when we played together xD
