Hi, i'm pretty much new to real server. I did play private server for many years before the 3rd transcend job, but the experince in private server probably amounts to nothing in actual server and decided to come on forum for help.

1. Since stats can't get over 99 in real server can you still instant cast?

2. Is there tons of GTB card that makes any casters powerless?

3. Any OP class? Either in PvE or PvP

4. When hunting MVP do you do it in group or is it soloable? (This might be a dumb question but in private you do everything alone)

5. Also I remember meeting an MVP in actually map to be near impossible, so is it hard to meet them? ( In most private there is usually a map that have some different type of MVP mobs everywhere)

6. If I remember you can get to Blvl 99 and Jlvl 50 to reborn and just make any 2nd transcend class is that still apply in Real RO?

I plan to make a warlock (hopefully) but i really hate the casting time and so many GTB cards in private server that makes caster powerless. But I like all class and I played all class in private server
And I just want to play something powerful, so please give me some feed back~

Im guessing you are playing on one of the renewal servers and not the new classic.
1. Instant cast is actually not as possible anymore. Casting now has 2 different forms. Variable cast time and fixed cast time http://irowiki.org/w..._Time#Cast_Time
2. Depends on your server. Ymir has some GTBs while Yggdrasil and Valkyrie are unknown for the most part.
3. PVP/WoE is dominated by mostly Sura. PvM Ranger, Though most classes except for Wanderer (Poor wanderer...) are useful in one way or another.
4. Properly geared you can practically solo MVPs in 3rd class. Genetics are the main MVPer for anything non ghost. Ghost is Dragon Breath Rune Knights.
5. There is a new feature called Tombstones which is a npc that spawns ontop of a MVPs last death spot. Talking to the tombstone will reveal when it was killed and who killed it. Basically if you find the tombstone you can camp the mvp. Unless the MVP has a fixed spawn location like Amon Ra it will spawn randomly on the map.
6. If you mean you can rebirth as any class and then change what you want to become after rebirthing no. You say you are going warlock so you need to go Novice > Mage > Wizard > High Novice > High Mage > High Wizard > Warlock. You can also skip rebirth and go directly to 3rd class but it isnt recommended for any class.

But is it really neccessary for you to go Novice > Mage > Wizard > High Novice > High Mage > High Wizard > Warlock?
For example, in private you could just go Novice > Thieft > Assassin > High Novice > High Mage > High Wizard > Warlock?

Warlock should be a pretty fun class. Rangers may overpower you in pvm but warlocks should be more useful in PvP / WoE. Ygg server should't have any gtbs at the moment and valk server might only have one or none at all at the moment. I don't think anyone will default gtb in woe either as they would get destroyed by your non-caster guildmates.
