Many of them are eager to support iRO but because of China's national firewall they are having problems purchasing WP, VIP subscription, etc.
If you are a playing from China have and figured out how to circumvent this particular issue, please teach me so I can pass this information on to my cRO friends.
Thank you.

In fact I can and i did purchased WPE and WTFast before. I used VISA to buy it. I think maybe they face problem on VISA because in China VISA is not very commonly used? I am not sure about this.
Anyway thanks for your concern about us

I'll ask them about all the payment methods they have tried.
Thx for the reply.

But maybe it's worth a try to not use a proxy for purchasing WPE?
As the ip ban for german players came around, many tried to use lowerping (as webbrowser proxy) to make an account and were temporaly banned because of this, I assume as a bot provention.
So... maybe try without or with another proxy?

I don't know how the proxy-situation is from China, my knowledge about this topic is very limited.
But maybe it's worth a try to not use a proxy for purchasing WPE?

what's with German players getting banned? moved to Munich from London recently, bought (and redeemed) several UGC codes and WPE, played several hours through the weekend, didn't encounter any problem so far

The warportal site automatically bans you if you log into the website whilst using a proxy. You need to submit a ticket to get your account unbanned.

That's what I meant, yes. Never had the problem myself ^^

We're not getting banned, but there's an ip ban for registration, that you can avoid by simply making an account for another game first (like Requiem) and then making a RO account.
This ip-ban is for france, germany and middle east, following requests from fRO and aRO.
