no the right client. Should be cragexe

make sure you ran ROClassic so it launches the correct client file for Classic.

i get this error too but with crag.exe, then i installed direct x now i dunno if server is down or i really cant login, coz it always fails to connect to server... yes i ran classicRO..as admin

to all having this error please install direct x and run again as admin, already worked for me, i cant believe no one suggested this.

Yes because we can all read hexidecimal error messages and memory dumps, I only know a handful of them myself.
