Hello!
Im going to rebirth now and start my way to AB with a FS build, but im not really sure what HP and AB skills should i get :S. Theres so many and i like most of them @.@. I was thinkinh something like that:

I only want it for MVPing as im not interested in pvp or WoE.
Should i cba about Angelus and put more points in meditatio?

In my personal opinion, meditadio would be better. AB's can run out of SP frequently if they don't manage their skills properly.

Max Angelus = useless unless you're an ME priest and own a Deviling.

Max Prefaetio = useless. All it does is more blocks. 5 is sufficient.

Meditatio lower than level 10 = Bad. This is mandatory at level 10 for SP management if you don't use Light Blue pots.

You also probably don't need sanctuary at level 10. Most ABs get level 7 since that's where the heal amount used to be maxed, though it works a little differently now. Safety wall is useful at times but you may or may not use it much for PVM / MVP. Some ABs are considering maxing epiclesis now since it's a pretty nice skill. Maxing lauda skills is kind of nice for a bit more stat bonuses but level 2 is totally fine. The extra LUK you get from Ramus is mostly only nice for buffing brewers and the extra chance of curing statuses isn't too significant, but when you have a couple skill points leftover it's something to consider. Same goes for the level of Clearance.

Safety Wall is for ME ABs..... No FS AB will ever get this skill. If they do, they are playing the class wrong.

and Sanctuary is extremely good in WoE for healing barricades. It's also good for healing allies in a very tight spot.

You probably won't even use Epiclesis often since it's a hassle to drop it and making people wait till it expires. Sometimes, people just ignore it altogether......

Clearance maxed is really good to have, but you should max this last.

Eh, some FS ABs get safety wall for certain PVM / MVP situations. I personally did not to get more points on other skills but it could be a preference thing. Original poster is focusing on PVM / MVP and not WoE. I haven't decided what to do with my AB points yet but I won't be getting silentium personally. Epiclesis is no soul exhale but not every party you run into has a sorc. The HP boost is kind of nice too, maybe for RKs DBing an mvp.

Hmmm I really don't see how useful Safety Wall is in MvP. Most of the things that really hurt are blocked by Pneuma or reduced easily by Assumptio/GR/DR/Elemental armors and Earthquake CANNOT be blocked by Safety Wall.... Also, a Sura MS tank pretty much acts like a walking Safety Wall in the first place...


Silentium is crap because it's just an AoE Lex Divina. It is useless in WoE/PvP because a Green Pot can easily remove it. It sucks in PvM too because most end-game mobs have very high MDEF/INT/VIT to resist a lot of status effects.

Meditatio also increases your Heal amount, you should definitely max it
