hitlock

just had a status reset few days ago, now i can hit 193 aspd with my ranger, with self buffs and guarana candy/enrich potion/awakening potion.problem is, it seems i really cant hitlock on mvps, for more than a few seconds. the way i do is like this, after self buffing (imp. concantrate-wind walk-fear breeze-falcon eyes) and using potions, i put some distance between me and the mvp, probably around 11 cells, and then left click on it. am i missing something ? it seems it works on low level monsters, like bio 2 monsters, but not the mvps.
any input is appreciated, thanks.

Requirement:
11+ cells away from the target. If they are within 10 cells of you, they will get Endure effect. If use RCX, keep the 9x9 cell green box on it helps you judge the distance.Make sure you rotate your camera to get as much vision as possible. Playing on a wide screen or taking advantage of the lower corners of the screen for extra vision helps a lot.
Preferred set up:
Have a horizontal/vertical line between you and the target.
193 Aspd will allow you to do it against all enemies but it is not necessary especially for the slower targets.
One VERY important thing:
Once you got the lock maintain the same ASPD till it dies!
Here's Clogon's tips for hitlocking. He's the best Ranger out there imo. I killed over 500 MvPs on my Ranger including tough ones like Kiel and Fallen Bishop using this tactic, so I will tell you IT WORKS!
No fancy gears needed. It's all about DISTANCE and adjusting/rotating your screen as much as possible to get the best vision.
