Hopefully this isn't the wrong forum. I considered the main Ragnarok Community Chat forum as well, but this is sort of a brainstorming thread. I'm not here to complain about either Renewal or Classic, I'd just like a place to toss out our own ideas of the perfect RO. Not asking for anything, but who knows? Maybe we'll inspire the crew.


Me, my dream server would be a permanent 2x or 3x Classic paywall server. Trans classes and full expanded classes, but with Heat removed from TKMs and the nerfs removed from Endure and maybe Soul Exhale. The Kafra shop would be very similar to our own Classic's launch shop.

WoE1 would be several times a week, with a different round of castles each day to help people with conflicting schedules enjoy my favorite PvP mode in MMO-ville. Valk/Luina/etc 1 could be Mondays or Tuesdays, 2 and 5 could be Wednesdays, and 3 and 4 could be Saturdays.

There'd be limits on how many castles could belong to a single alliance, perhaps 1 in each of the three rotations. Alliances would be limited to two guilds each. Maybe each week one WoE day could be selected for "Defense Hard Mode," in which anyone entering the castle who isn't a part of the defending alliance is considered to be a part of the same team, and unable to hurt each other. All the little new guilds could team up and take on the big guys without formal communication, and the big guys will get to experience a real fight to keep their throne.

Also, there would be some way to earn WoE-specific supplies in game. Somebody around these parts once suggested adding them to the rewards in battlegrounds, and I think that's an awesome idea.

I guess WoE2 could be Tuesday and Thursday. I was never really into that one.

No item/EXP turn-ins, no modifiers of any kind (EXP/Drop Boosters), no broken rental equipment, no GM doing events and giving away free stuff. BASICALLY, just let people play the game.
