all the drama and whatever stuff aside, was a great event and congrats to all the teams. in all honesty, it was really fun to see everyone working together and competing together.

Winners were listed and the Bracket was updated!

For both Leonis and Draconis, expect your shirts and flags on Tuesday! (Hopefully) :p_smile:

...we will be doing bigger teamed PvP events in the near future.. probably 230 and after the new skill update.

any chance for some live announcers then?
(if Gravity guys are too shy maybe you can make audition and pick someone from community? (with some small reward))

That's possible. I don't think it's shy just that we don't have the time. Too many variables occurring at once but it's possible. Send me a demo tape and we'll talk. :p_devil:

my voice is not good enough (heavy accent etc) + I AM supershy for such stuff
(back in old 90s I had to do some short interview... when camera turned on I fell down on floor... my legs just stopped working...
took me 8h just to say "Hi my name is ...")

oh and definitely you must add:

RING GIRLS!!!!! (or however those are called)

Xenobite got this accent to him ;3
But I think there's alot of people with deep voices or well strong voices, that could talk as stream commentators.
You guys should do some kind of audition thread or w/e how to send a tape to volunteer n stuff.

I don't think there's any need for commentators. Watching the stream makes it look like a complete cluster fudge, there's way too much going on while people are standing on top of each other so you can't really call much out. In these kinds of things, the only type of "pvp tournaments" that could use commentators/casters would be 1v1's.
(Not sure how Leonis went, but Draconis was messy.)

Doesn't mean they nessecary need to talk the whole time, just to make a few things clear instead of writing it down all the time cause it comes into less questions.

The leo one went a lot smoother i thought because we had matches back to back within 3-5 mins apart at most. And as for commentators, it'd be better if it was a group of players who pvp'ed in rose doing it as they may give better insights in the commentary. Also it'd be cool if they did a few minute delay thing where it like let people tune into the communication amongst the players on the team.

I found enough things happening on Leo (not draco, not to sound like that but we had more teams) and Calanor commented alot of things with tactics and what not, enough things were happening all the time to be commentated and that's what makes a stream more interesting if they're planning on making this more often.
However, I get your point of view but I also watched LoL streams before, and similar (SCII you mention it) so I'm aware of what you're talking about, but from my point of view it would be interesting.
Otherwise it's just a camera picture... nothing happening, people leave easy and it gets boring.

A sky view would be pretty nice. But it's not that, it's the fact that people are literally standing either: A. On top of one another or B. Too close to each other. It looks like a complete cluster fudge, although I agree it would be cool. It would be too... Messy.
But don't let my opinion stop it! I like the idea.

P.S: I didn't say I wanted it to look like LoL streams, I meant I want a commentator like OddOne. :p_idea:

The event went smoothly and moved along pretty well. Thank you Gravity team for making it go along so well. It was fun and the last 3 teams really gave us some good matches to watch. Congratz to all 3 teams and especially Kyoudai, you guys did great.

At 6min01. Why a GM was that close to the fight? He had to be even closer to wavie than hainess to be targeted with "target enemy" skill, and hainess was close enough to melee attack wavie. I know what done is done, but that fight would have had a very different ending if a gm wasn't standing that close.

So GMs, please, try to stay a bit backward for future tournaments.

Nonetheless, that tournament was fun and I thank you for organizing it !

That's another thing, when the one watching/GM gets debuffed from an AoE skill, it just looks weird as hell and adds more to the cluster fudge.

YES! ; YOUTUBE PUHLEAZZZZEE . oki tenks

Edit: I also agree with the others that the GM was standing way too close sometimes. Was kinda disappointed for the teams that im rooting for cause some of them were using target enemy skill. Like richard for example on threesome team. He started doing melees on the gm and used sleep on him. If the GM wasnt there , there could have been a better chance for the sleep to work (targeting the team at a specific radius)
