It's not much I ask for, but still it's important if you want to join us!

 

 

Sooo, what to start with?


About

The idea behind this guild is to make ingame friends and always have someone to play and chat with.
We will level together, fight MVP's, participate in Events and, in the future, WoE with mandatory attendance.

 

Though at the moment WoE is completely voluntary, so even if you don't WoE at all, you are very welcome to join our guild!

This guild is meant to bring newer and older players together, to share ingame experience and to help eachother out with ones knowledge about the game.

The more we are, the more fun we will have!

But also keep in mind, that even a small guild can increase your ingame experience just as good as large guilds can, and sometimes even better :D

 

We also have a guild forum which each member should register on:

The forums are used to communicate and organize parties!

Parties won't just happen if you join a guild, therefore to get things started the Party-section of our guild forums will come in handy!

This is necessary because many players may be busy with work/school and other obligations and may not be online as often during the week.
To keep everyone up-to-date with our current guild events(Parties, ET, MvP, WoE, etc.) and for our members to notify me if they become abscent for a while, the forums will be expected to be used by every member.
(as in: at least visit it once a week or when the ingame guild notice says something about an update)

 

 

 

War of Emperium

As of now, we have no mandatory attendance.

 

I will still attend WoE 1 every saturday, and all members are welcome to tag along!

 

Non-WoEing players may gladly join our guild and might find themselves to join us in WoE once or twice a month, if they get bored.

(please keep in mind though, that our future goal is to get back into regulary participating in WoE around mid/end October 2013)

Also keep in mind, that I might make use of the "Urgent Call" skill during WoE times, so non-participating players will have to endure some inconvenience during WoE.
(Cmon, it's only 2 hours anyway and together we'll have soo much fun fighting for a castle :D!)
Not to mention that fighting together in WoE as a team is a crapload of fun!


Current WoE Times are in PST(server time zone) and GMT+1(Germany/Europe):

13:00 - 15:00 PST (1 - 3 pm)

22:00 - 00:00 GMT+1 (10 - 12 pm)




Requirements

It doesn't matter which class you play or what your current level is, everyone is welcome!

We insist on following conditions though:

1. The character you join us with, has to be your main character!

(you may join in with alt characters, if you currently are leveling one, other than that refer to 2.)

 

2. You may NOT be a member of another guild. (This is to retain activity on our guild)

If you feel that you might be happier in a different guild, don't force yourself to stay here but also please respect our aim to get a lively guild by having our members be solely loyal to us only.

3. Be half-way active.

4. If you get inactive due to work/school/personal reasons, notify me in time!

¹ This means: You will have to choose us as your Guild, we do not want players who play in several other Guilds aswell. This is necessary to keep our Guild alive and active.

² This doesn't mean that you have to play everyday, but be sure to login and play every once in a while.

³ It's ok if you are not as active or currently have work/school/personal life that keeps you busy, but please notify me then by sending me a mail through the ingame mailbox or on the forums, so I know that you are occupied at the moment and didn't stop playing the game, in case you stay offline for longer than a week.

Overly inactive members, who don't bother to notify me or don't respond to mails in their ingame mailbox/are not able to be contacted, might get expelled after a certain period of time.
Going on holidays or being busy for a while is completely ok and no reason to be expelled. Just be sure to notify me about it, so I'll know that you'll come back and didn't stop playing for good.
We just want to avoid having a Guild full of "dead" characters, who will never log back in again.

Rules

- English only (Guild & Guild-Party Chat)
To ensure that we can all understand eachother, the only allowed language for the Guild Chat and Party Chat, when hunting with guild members, is english.

- Guild Chat
Please avoid foul language or indecent topics. This might scare off newer members or current ones aswell.
You can talk about hunting, everyday life and so on, but make sure it won't be something that might offend other members in any way!

- Be polite and help other guild members
This means: no insulting, no fighting over stuff (if you have an argument with someone, settle it via whisper in a decent manner!)
We strive for harmony in our guild and to sustain it.

- Maturity
There is no age restriction for our guild, but make sure that you behave properly and not like a little teen/child with certain things aka AVOID DRAMA.

- Greedy people
Don't always expect some kind of payment or other services from members when helping them or aiding them with equipment or items.
We're here to make friends and that involves a mutual give and take, without any "have to"'s but doing so for the sake of strengthening ingame friendships and trust to eachother.
The Guild Chat is not your private market channel to advertise items.

- Do not bot or cheat in any way!
Though this should normally be common sense, we've had quiet a few members who did exactly do that.
Botting or cheating in any way will get you permanently expelled from our guild.
(we do not give botters/cheaters a second chance to re-join us, even if they resign from botting/cheating)

How can I ask for tax to be added/removed?

(currently all taxes are set to 0%, the info in the spoiler won't be enforced until further notice)

Tax in general is voluntary, if you don't want to be taxed, refer to the info below.

 

Currently all Ranks come with a default of 10% tax.

(barely noticable, from 10.000.000 exp that's only 1.000.000 exp that is donated to the guild ; tax only affects base exp!)

 

 

Tax is automatically set as follows:

 

10% Tax: Level 1 - Level 80 (Pre-Trans)

0% Tax: Level 80 - Level 99 (Pre-Trans)

 

0% Tax: Level 1 - Level 80 (Trans)

10% Tax: Level 80 - Level 99 (Trans)

 

If you wish to have a lower tax, you can be set to the Shark Bait Rank, which has only 1%.

(barely noticable, from 10.000.000 exp that's only 100.000 exp that is donated to the guild ; tax only affects base exp!)

Players who use (HE) Battle Manuals (Kafra Shop exp Items) will be set to the Shark Blaster Rank (0% tax), until their BM's are used up.

(aswell as those, who wish not to be taxed at all)

50% is reserved for Guild Leveling sessions and players with maxed levels.

To get your tax reduced or increased, simply message Morlord ingame.

I got the guild exp up to 800k.

Somehow this doesn't seem to work so well, dunno why D:
People rather like to join guilds with level limitations such as "only +70" <.<"

Guess, I'll be playing all alone by myself until someday the most unlikely will happen and I will actually find players who want to join a guild where they can find friends and chat and enjoy the game with a little more D:

Keep at it , recruit lower players if your guild is still small and grow / experience the game while teaching new people. It's the best way to start a guild if you're alone. Goodluck

And so far all members were around level ~30 - 40.

Today is a sad day for our guild, we've got our first member whom we had to expel due to botting q__Q
Please refrain from joining our guild if you are a botter, thank you.

Other than that, yay, we're 6 players in total and hopefully more to join in :D

Ok, here is a little update:

We've got 11 on and off active members so far :D

Guild exp is @ ~1.5kk, which means only 500k left until WoE Approval :D
And some of the Guildies even volunteer for a small tax to help leveling the Guild :DDDDD


Though having this many members currently lets us limit which classes to invite, unfortunately.
Due to having quiet a lot of Swordies, new ones will be set on queue to join.

Currently we're looking mainly for Acolytes with Priest as their goal and Mage/Wizards Merchant/Alchemists and Archer/Hunters.
But any other class is also welcome. (Monk, etc.)

As soon as we get our first Guild extension we'll accept Swordies again :D


Also, please keep in mind, if you want to join it has to be your main character!
How else are we going to play together, when you play with different characters in different guilds?
If you play with 2 characters frequently, you can join in with both of them. (Just as I did with my Mage and my Thief)

Update:

Guild Lv 2 -> WoE Approval :DDDDDD

Currently we have 15 spots out of 16 occupied of which, though, 2 might be available soon again.

2 players have higher leveled main characers in other guilds and joined ours with their secondary chars.
Both have been mailed to and asked to decide between Sharks and their other guild. (Since I couldn't catch them online yet)
Until they decide/answer, their characters will remain in our guild unless they don't bother to decide or don't answer within about 4 days.
(gosh, I hate expelling players >.<)


Next Guild Skill will be the Guild Extension, which will increase our slots from 16 to 20 :D
We also have 4 tax volunteers(including me) with a tax range from 1 - 10 %

Update:

Currently we are full, 16/16 players

I'll be pumping some 50% tax on me tomorrow, to get the guild extension faster so more players can join in.

Though, again, we have 1 player who hasn't logged in for quiet a long while and another one, whom I'm not sure yet, if it is really their main character they joined us with.
