2nd stage is scheduled for 7/27, and will be Morroc area, and Payon area, including Pyramid, anthell, sphinx, payon dungeon and Treasure ship.

A MvP for pyramid basement would be cool.

All the morroc areas seem exactly the same to ones adjacent to it, maybe condensing the spawns to specific maps and increase the numbers would be a more viable solution. Whats the point of picky spawning on 10 different morroc maps?

Make a Greatest Generals map, and better Bigfoot spawn.

Also; when do you guys plan to add in Anubis? I'd like a better map than the one on renewal, maybe something more priest friendly since mobs of pasanas and minos are a pain in the butt if you're soloing, maybe mummies and isis or something?

Comodo has lots of Greatest Generals now.
Anubis need to stay off Classic for as long as possible.



Its mostly anolians on that map, the payon maps are mostly GGs which are good for archers to snipe. The old one was GGs and elderwillows on the one map, and the other had GGs and horongs (although horongs are annoying as hell, so maybe put somethin else there instead?)

Payon cave 5; add 50 ninetails(instant spawn)

Sphinx 4 and 5; add 5 anubis on a 3 minute timer. Enough to boost people's exp a little but not enough to make it the only place to level up.

Pyramid basement 2; remove ghoul, mimic, arclouze. Add 30 ancient mummy(instant spawn) and 30 verit. Add amon ra if he isn't there yet. Add 3 anubis(instant spawn) and 10 evil druids. Should make it a good place for TU priests and those who want to kill undead stuff.

Those high def monsters are quite annoying for melee's with no picks.

Yeah. I'd say leave only like 10-15 of them but until we get payon GD, there should be a decent place to hunt horongs.

I would like to have ninetails somewhere else too, similarly to the pre-renewal eddga map. However, that map should remain the home of wormtails for now. Maybe put plenty of ninetails and greatest generals on one of the payon fields to have a home for fire element mobs.

I think Ancient Mummys should be on the 4th floor. Maybe only 2 mimics on that floor instead as well since Osiris pops here too. A smart Pharaoh would store his chests in the basement and that's where most of the mimics belong to eat the unwary traveller :D
I like the isis suggestion though. Maybe change the Matyr spawns to Ancient Mummy instead.


More Muka and Baby Desert Wolf (and Desert Wolf) spawns would be nice too.

Leave Anubis out of the game. Perma. Only way I could see them in the game is if they were immune to TU/Res. The allure of priests solo leveling instead of partying makes them a poor monster for an MMO, where plenty of classes depend on the priest population to actually use their support skills to support.

Anubis should be added but not currently wait until trans are implemented to add Anubis.

Why should a priest be force to group if they wanted to solo like any of the other classes. There are tons of high exp monster in the future where parties are meant for and are way better then Anubis.

My suggestions include anubis in low quantities so they are not the main exp on any of the maps but they exist to boost people's exp and make their item drops(card and healing staff) available. Anubis itself is not a bad thing. It's people leveling/leeching everything on them that ruins aspects of the game. They should exist but rather than being main spawns, they should be like deviace, cat o ninetails, dark illusion, alice, mobster and other rare/unique spawns.

"Glast Heim!

Outdoors - Not a big change, one or two extra knight of abyss for freaking out all the good noobs going through the zone, but otherwise no big change.

Castle 1f - This map is a real downer, so fixing it is a tough call. I'm going for a theme here, mostly Carat's and Jokers (as neither of them make appearances anywhere else). There's also some sageworms, and the odd dark frame.

Castle 2f - Ooh man, this map is a real show stopper now. The raydric spawns have been turned up to 11, wanderers still run rampant, and a few abysmal knights and khalitzburgs round out the experience. Oh, and Baphomet, cause he didn't want ot leave.

Church - The map is largely a Evil Druid centric map, with a bunch of ghouls, and a few wraiths. There's a couple brilights too, as well as a few Dark Priests.

Churchyard/Catacombs - This map is a modified classic spawn, with more wraiths, and a split in zombie and skeleton prisoners.

Chivalry 1f/2f - Chivalry 1f and 2f mirror each other fairly closely, the goal is to make 1f easier for lower level or solo players, and 2f to be scary and a good place to party. While I think GH castle 2f is the best zone for grouping, I think this would be a nice place if you're card hunting!

Prison 1f - The map becomes pre-renewal style, with zombie prisoners, injustice, rybio, and hunterflies. Just a little more of everything though... except hunterflies.

Prison 2f - Much like prison 1 was, very close to pre-renewal. Slightly less annoying mobs though, and more injustice and skel prisoners.

I'll keep going in another post later, this takes a good while to write out. "

Are you really going there saying that a priest cant solo effectively without Anubis? Really?

Please keep anubis out as long as you can. Aslo i would like to see more bigfoot on pretty much any map right most i see is like 15 on a huge map if its a huge map can the number be alot more? or more then like 5 on a smaller map?

I can agree with this, the mob can exist, but as a 'mini-boss' level of spawning. They give way too much exp to be a regular spawn, even in Trans.

No regular mob should ever be put on the spawn of a mini-boss or MVP. No reason to make them that rare, only MvP are the exception to this. It's ridiculously that some normal monster cards are only obtainable through OCA because the spawns are so little/rare.

Remiri, it was your choice to play a pure Sac crusader that can't solo on its own. All class can solo on their own if you wished too. If you plan on making a non-solo class I would advise to not make one unless you can have a semi-permanent group to level with.

No to Anubis? They give less exp then thors/bio labs/skegs/incarnations and so on, much less I should say. Anubis are easier however that is why there were only 15 of them on the map tops.

All mobs should be added, and need to be added at least 10 of them on instant respawn in the future.

Did you know the exp rate at Anubises is about 4m/hour for priest solo. That is pretty good but pre-map spawn adjustment I already am getting 1.8m/hour without BM on my wizard and many others are getting 3-6m/hour with BM. Anbusies are not as good as you think, there were 10 of them on Sphinx 4 and 15 on Sphinx 5.

As my previous post, Anubises should not be added now but save for the future.

4m/hour solo is something that a lot of classes would BEG for. Anything that discourages party play should not exist in a mmorpg. Anubis are as good as I think they are, it was not just priests that jumped on the bandwagon. Every support class would bring a 99 fencer merc down to there because the main support class was down there as well.

I am not basing this on speculation, party play drastically diminished with Anubis around. That is a fact.

GC crusader could 2-3 GC an Anubis and get roughly the same exp as priest. If you went INT/DEX/VIT on a GC Crusader you could of gotten massive exp at Anubis killing 2-3 at once.

99 fencer merc were only a option because they were added via Lucky Boxes, do you know it's pretty hard to get a 99 fencer merc currently? You require 400 loyalty points to purchase a lvl 10 99 fencer pet. AFKing to get the 400pts requires 200 hours to get one + 7000zx400=2,800,000zeny. Even if you were actively using a merc pet to gain loyalty you average out is 8(350creep kills) loyalty per pet so you will still need 25 hours to get one.

I think I mentioned there are better place where you could level in a party.

Party play did not diminish when Anubis was around, it just seems like it did. People play priest/made priest to level at Anubis in the first place. If Anubis wasn't around chances are the priest population would of been lower.

GC sader is basically an entirely different class than Sac sader. Building around int instead of str being a prime example.

Leaving it at that, will leave it up to the powers that be, but would be sorely disappointed if THIS map change results in a regular spawn of Anubis.

Anything that discourages party play should not exist in a mmorpg.


That is a contradiction, in mmorpg any choice should be possible.
Party play gets currently already most out of the game.

Anubis would certainly spice up and bring more options and colour to the game.

Same class, different build. If you want to play a pure woe build character, step 1 should be making sure you have leveling parties lined up.

Also, if you're gonna argue priests shouldnt be able to solo because its anti-partying, that's horrible logic. Maybe we should remove flee because that promotes soloing? And then remove pots because you can just pot through the damage to begin with! A lot of people make buff slaves if you missed that, also I'm sure its only a matter of time before buff scrolls are put in despite protest cause it makes them money.

People are GOING to solo, no matter what you do. I don't think its too much to ask for a spot for FS Priests to go solo when their leveling partner(s) are busy or if they just FEEL like soloing. As it is the only place to do that is GY and the exp is roughly half per mob what any other class can get, on say TI or stings, with a lot more health.
