There are two major problems with the Classic client right now.
1) It reads the game information from the wrong data file, ie the one used on the renewal servers.
2) The inability to dual client.
This isn't something that seems as easy as you would think to fix since Gravity US doesn't own the source files to the Ragnarok client so they can't make their own changes without a lot of trouble.
