What I mean is, say that I have 1 Luck, which equals 1% critical rate, right? Now let's say that I add 3 Skeleton Soldier cards onto my weapon(9% critical rate each, 27% total), which is a Katar(doubles your critical rate), so, would I then have 54% critical rate total without even adding any stat points to Luck?

That is correct, other than your dropping the 1 crit you have without weapons.

9%*3+1 (the 1 crit without the weapon) = 28%, so with katar you would have 56 crit. Be aware that monster luk reduces crit rates ("crit shield" - 5 luk = -1 crit). Generally not by that much, but it's sometimes significant.

As for how they stack - + crit effects stack additively (and are very abundant) and are added to your crit (this shows in status window). That is doubled if you're using a katar type weapon (and not shown in the status window). Then after that, crit shield is subtracted from it.

Note that "+x Critical" and "+x% critical" mean the same thing.
