I made my first bio a few days ago, 3 more job lvs to go. my skill build is pretty much set AB+FCP build.

Still can't decide between these two skills though. 6 points left

my main is an RK, and everything that increase potion efficiency is definitely something that i take considerate for bigtime. XD
On the other hand with the new Homun S max HP, if i only have lv 2 Homun Ress would it bareable to potion pitcher'd them to full health everytime they got ress'd??

Which one would you max'ed?

Well would you rather have 25% more restoritive power from potions or to resurrect homun to full health? If you wanna mvp at some point the increased pot effectiveness seems more viable

This depends on a piece of information that I just realized I do not know.

The critical question is what items the Potion Research skill applies to.

If it only applies to red/yellow/white potions, screw it. Nobody uses these anymore.

If it applies to slims too, or better still, all HP regen items, that added regen is almost certainly more valuable to your character than being able to res homun with full HP, unless you have big plans for your homun.

Neither skill is very useful as a geneticist.

You can throw whites on your homun after resurrecting it.
You won't be aid potting yourself to care about potion research.

Potion research effects potion regeneration when using potions normally too, though.

What matters is whether it effects slims (which you will use) or just fats (which you won't)

afaik potion research only affects pitched potions...

Potion Pitching is a waste of time when leveling homunculus. Personally, when I level my Dieter in Nogg, I find letting it die and resurrecting it is much cheaper and faster way to get your homunculus back in action.

When MvPing the high end MvPs, you won't even use pots. you use Ygg Seed/Berries or just Token abuse.

Yes - I'd suggest dropping aid potion in favor of homun res, except that you need level 5 to throw blues to your homun :-/

Well, I hope his aspirations are higher than spamming res tokens to survive MVPs...?

Even if you've got berries, you're still going to be using some slims because of the cooldown and cost of the berries.

Am I the only one who uses white pots? Lol I always carry about 300 on me and I can solo ET up to level 50 with just that

i did choose potion research 7 and homun res 5 in the end. i'm glad i did it, i find it hard to potion pitcher my amistr in the middle of mob xD

I'm classy and use mastelas. Slim whites are too expensive to make and I really got no time to hunt Starsands.

Not sure about other homunculus but Dieter from Vanilmirth never run into SP problems. No need to toss blue pots at all.
