Ive gone to that dungeon for 3 days now to try and get purple armour for my mage and it hasnt droped anything but pants everything else is for all the other clases so I was just wondering if any other mage is having this same problem.

Drops are random. You just have to keep trying and hop you get lucky. If you're trying to get a full set, be prepared to do 100+ runs.
