I heared that there's this food stats that supposedly increase one stat for 5mins or so, does anyone know where can it be found?Kafra Shop only sells the +10 one.

You aren't playing on Classic are you? Seems to me someone is always vending them.

So valkyrie...wow the price for these +20 foods that last for only 5minutes are so ridiculously high @_@...like ranging from 600k to 1m each?Omg.
I guess it's more worth it to make a Genetic and make it my own instead of spending money..

I searched irowiki for Genetic's build on mix cooking..just like "Pot brewer" but I couldnt find any.
Just one question, when you use MIxed Cooking lvl 2. Does DEX and LUK plays a role for success rate?Or those stats only apply to pot brewing and that Mixed Cooking has a fixed success or?

EDIT:...WAIT HANG ON. +20 Foods only exist from Genetics. And Classic hasnt even have 3rd jobs yet..let alone trans class. So..someone is exploiting a bug or so then???

+20 foods are on renewal servers only. Classic will never even have third classes so it will never have +20 stat foods.

+20 foods are pretty powerful so it does make sense that they cost quite a bit or have rare materials.

+20 foods make you go hyper mode for only 5 mins or until you get 1 shotted by a Sura.

I have two questions and would be grateful if they were answered

1. DEX and LUK increases the success rate of doing the "Mixed Cooking" for +20 Foods right?Similar to Pot Brewing and Weapons Smithing?And if so, how much success percentage per 1 point of DEX and 1 point of LUK?

2.Does the +20 Foods be able to stacked to either the Kafra Shop +10 Foods OR the +7 Eden VIP Buff?
Can they be stacked all three, or just either Kafra Shop or Eden VIP Buff?


By the way, since we're on the Genetics topic. Does anyone know a thread where there is a guide on to level a Homunculi from lvl 1 to 99 and so on?

Before I got an MC slave and a brewer, I failed a lot more often because my brewing stats (LUK/DEX) are under 100.

But now, I have a marionette control slave and I'm able to get 150 DEX/LUK and over 200 INT while brewing. I never failed once, so I assume I got 100% chance for it.

My geneticist gets 110% success rate on cooking stuff as long as I have clemetia/gloria and nothing else. I have 120 base int and like 107/108 base luk/dex. Full chem 5. Lots of "potter" gears. My INT and LUK are around 200 and DEX around 160.

When I say 110% success rate, what I mean is if someone brings me 100 beef head, I can make about 55 minor brisket, which is 10% more than what I should have made if I succeeded 100%. Its because you can make extra of the food with lvl 2 mixed cooking if your stats are good enough.

Wow i see....wow...so must have DEX/LUK close to urs to achieve that high success @_@..like 200DEX wth >:C. so 120base plus 80 DEX outside..ah gona be hard.

Hm..so can the +20 Food be able to stacked to either VIP NPC +7 Buff and/Or +10 Kafra Shop Food or both?
Also..where can I buy these "cook books" like to learn them passively before making it o.o like "Create potion book" n such for prepare potion for instance xD

I prefer 120 int to 120 dex because INT factors more heavily in the creation of special pharmacy items.

theres a chefs quest to get low level cookbooks (lvl1-lvl5) and books are dropped by monsters... youll also need cooking kits and ingredients... my ninja cooks... 50% fail rate but i only cook at level 5 max most of the time... not built for cooking but its something to do...

The +20 foods require a book called Mixed-Cooking, sold at the alchemist jobchange area.

Stat resetting + marionette control is the best way to 100% brewing. Reset Stones are cheap and all I need is 6 of them. It would cost me about 9mil or so but if I'm making pots/food in bulk (100k whites and 3k food) at 100% success, it's definitely worth it.

+20 foods can stack with +10 foods/VIP buffs, but the +10 foods do not stack with VIP buffs

the +7 stat foods should be pretty cheap/easy to make on classic, at least the str one is iirc.

Alot of the stat foods up to +8 (most of them anyway) are pretty easy to make actually. Its only past that do the recipes start asking for rare things like tame items.

are you sure that is even necessary? your guild has sleipnir, hammer, and brising... I believe my gene can get 100% on condensed whites with those without needing marionette/reset stones... I believe harmonize-> marionette is all you need different.. perhaps that would do it for you ?
