I'm having an hard time lvling from 90 to 99 on my hunter. I'm 93 right now, did gramps for a while but it seems that I can't get into groups anymore and I can't solo those pesky dragons...

I can either do musci & drosera for easy lvling, but it really takes forever... If I fight stuff in the 80 it's even slower, in the 100 I keep dying and drinking pots like a man in the desert... which drains my money alot. I also tried siroma in ice 1, with Ankle trap they are easy, but I have to carry on alot of traps and have to search for them, so it's not really faster than drosera.

Is there spots that would lvl faster than veins 4 without too much hasle?

Try turtle island.I was happy with the amount of exp i was getting when at that level range.

90-99 is kind of a pain in general I guess. Gramps is still probably your best bet. If you're on valk server you should be able to get into a party if you're patient. Arrow shower is decent for lower level turn ins and can help your party with it, but yeah hunters are not the most popular class in parties. At least once you turn ranger you will be the best killer class around with arrow storm so it's worth the grind.

Are you playing on classic? If so just slow down once you hit level 95. The difference in your over all stats is only 4 to 6% depending on the build.

So once you hit level 95, understand yeah you should make your way to level 99, but you dont have to rush through. Think of it like a really great desert that you have at the end of a good meal. You want more from it but you're satisfied of what you've had, all of what you've had. You're not snarfing it down like Dollar Store cup cakes.

Amatsu dungeon level 3. If you are not strong enough, use snares. Tengus give TWICE the exp of ANY other monster in the range.

Besides keeping up with the TI quests, I think siromas might be pretty easy to work with. Just use blast mine instead of ankle snare.. if you are using elemental traps, then you will be able to kill things almost instantly. Just stay calm, having leveled a chaser, guillotine cross, and ranger, I'd say that hunters are the hardest to get to 99 before transcendence. Good luck.

hillwinds? I'm lvl 9x something. I cant remember, 92? Anyways I can one shot hillwinds with ds. Pretty good leveling to me.

Are you on classic or renewal? Leveling strategies are totally different between the two.

Renewal, but I got bored and started on a monk, which was kind of the same (trying to get to lvl 50 job on aco). But at least orc dongeon was a better place to lvl solo than gramps on my solo hunter, even if it depends on the kind of gramps (zipper bears are way easier than dragons...)

Desert Wolves! They're 10 levels higher than you. They're all over the place on the Ice Dungeon map.

Do all the eden group 91-99 quests (Glast Heim, Rachel, and Turtle Island) resets every 3 hours. While waiting for the quests to reset, killing Kobolds are very good exp and there is a lot of them so walk slow (level 107 and theres like 70 of each kobold which I think there is 4 types). Their on rachel field 05 and 06, possible to just grind there to 99 but doing the eden quests mixes it up a bit. Good luck
