I suggest copying ChatWndInfo_U.lua, OptionInfo.lua, and UserKeys.lua from data to savedata, and then rerunning setup.exe. This will preserve most of your old settings. Some options don't save like /aura. And I noticed the shadows of building and other structure is missing. Its kinda dull.
For shadows, you need to have /lightmap enabled.

Btw, never had this option not saving happens before. Its always working fine everytime major updates comes, but not with this one.. I wonder why.

EDIT: Ok nvm I fixed it. Those wondering, just get rid of the manifest file regarding Setup (make it a backup file, or cut it somewhere else just in case) But apparently after I eliminated that file from my RO folder, it worked.

I am getting an issue where it pops a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error when I try to open the client or Setup (Renewal) not letting me play. Is no one else getting this?

You say you're getting the same error (MS VC++ runtime error when trying to start setup), but then you say that you're not able to select a resolution when you open setup.Yeah I'm getting the same problem here when i try to open the setup.exe i cant even change my resolution :'(

Which is it?
Is it MSVC++ error when attempting to open setup, or does setup open but not list any resolution options?
