The Nospam is Dcing me alot XD, i know at least 2 other people in my guild with the same problem and wanted to know if this was effecting more people then just us

I've been getting error..
mainly in areas where a lot of people are chatting, or
using skills frequently.
such as snapping, aoe'ing the ground, and other spammable skills.

A possible workaround until they fix it is to set blockspam to 0 in nospam.cfg.

If that is the Gravity Exception Error I get that often. I've had it happen twice to me in the past 24 hours on the one client I was active on while the other client/s remained online & working.

This doesn't have anything to do with people chatting I know that much since I have mine set to /notalkmsg, so there is no chat going on at all when this happens. The only thing I set to show in my display is Quest info & EXP.

If the use of skills is the cause of this problem we're in real trouble

I really do wish something would be done about the skills being played with & abused in eden, etc...

The client still receives and processes messages even if they're not displayed, which is sufficient to trigger the bug that Renouille discovered.

dont worry. no one is alone on this. there are hundreds of people with this error. i myself have tried for hours to fix this. and nothing. i have tried all methods and all the troubleshooting one can offer. i still have not gotten rid of it. it says can not load nospam.dll when you first start rag up. then you can login as normal but while your playing, if you see public chat or you try chatting in public, it crashes and sends the same error that everyone is getting.

If you are getting this error AND ONLY THIS specific error please try this, its seems to have helped a few cases for this error only.

Make a backup copy of the original one then replace it with this one, if you it does not help, replace it with the original one. This is only a means to help temp fix the issue, kRO will have to fix the issue and give iRO a real patch later for the patch client. There is a mistake in the calculation for the message length because for some reason kRO likes to fix things that aren't broken or think they can do it better

oda i just notice when sume1 doing public chat example some1 asking buffs and its on my screen appear i will get the error thats why eden and prontera are the most crowded place specially those spam bots that use public chat to sell zenny thing thats why cant even go near to the vending people there

That's nice to know since I have been reporting this for 3 Months now & been told that I am the only one with this problem & the only one that has sent in a ticket about it.

I haven't tried it since this is the first I've ever heard of it. In the months of talking to Tech Support they have just told me that I am the only one have this problem & they will forward the problem to the developers. That most likely my software is corrupt though.

I will try this now once I find the file...lol

well, fortunately ive only had this problem since the latest patch on 8-7-12. but that does not mean im not upset over this issue :-/ im bummed out lol. and actually ive sent in three tickets now. and its funny cause i get the same response to all 3 of them and i continue trying what they tell me but nothing works.

It get's worse for me after each patch. Then just as things start to settle down. Another patch...lol

It really began, for me, around the time of the server & router problems that I don't think were ever fixed. It's just continually gotten worse lately.

We are attempting to find a solution to disable it completely until they fix this crap.

We could hex the client and stop it from loading nospam but we dont have permission to do that and release it. Nospam dll we wrote so we have partial ownership and can get away with that, unfortunately the problems are both in the client and in the dll.

Uhh my partner and I wrote nospam and the associated code with it, so yes WE DID write it....so no offense but we know what we're talking about and you don't, unfortunately kRO bastardized it which is why its not working properly. We are attempting to find a solution to disable it completely until they fix this crap.
