I was wondering if anyone knew or could refer me to where I can find the formula for calculating a attribute: ie Attack Power, Defense, Dodge, Crit. I know I ran across a thread that had it in it before, but it was a while ago and I can't remember. But I think it was something like this: (Base Stat x Gear Bonus) + Gem Bonuses. This is just an explantion so you can know specifically what I'm looking for.

I'm not sure what kind of values your looking for but....
isn't it plus Gem bonus then x Gem bonus passive%?
I don't get where your getting base stat x gear bonus...??
Wouldn't the equation be (Base Stat + Gem bonus + Gear bonus) x (Class passive + Gem passive) ???
Cause that's the half the mathmatical equation I usually use to get AP/Def/etc.. Values before I actually make stat tree's
I don't know... Just trying to help maybe

Like my first post said: it was my best attempt at trying to give a proper understanding of what I was looking for, and not actually my ideal of what it is. The formula that you provided seems correct rose; but if anyone knows the post I'm refering to, I think it was IcePhish that posted it. I'm not in-game now, but when I do login, i'll use the one you provided rose and find out if it's correct. Thanks for your input.

I think if we're really serious to maximize stat efficiency, we need to consider a lot of things:
  • Know your goal/enemy (specifically what type/class of enemy are you planning to obliterate may it be PVM or PVP)
  • It is very important to discover the break point of stat effectiveness (know what the decent/enough stat to produce the desired effect to minimize waste, unless your planning to provide allowance for debuff(refer to no. 1))
  • Consider the availability of max stat bonuses from armor/weapon/accs set.
  • Formulate your blue print on a draft of paper and purchase a lot of skill/stat reset book.
  • Do a lot of trial and error hoping that game patch will not put your effort into waste.
It would be nice to find a universal game stat calculator with variability to customize formulas or a good widget.
Note: There are two kinds of gamer (casual/serious)
