This weapon is actually a valk manteau effect (100% chance to reflect 20% damage Melee only) and is not reflecting magic attacks (single target and AoE).


21001#Bellum Claymore#
Usable only in PVP and Siege zones.
Increases physical damage against players by 80%, adds 30% physical defense bypassing.
If refined to +6, adds an additional 40% physical damage bonus.
If refined to +9, adds a high chance to reflect physical and magical attacks.
Type: Two-Hand Sword
Attack: 260
Weight: 350
Item Lv: 4
Req Lv: 95
Job: Swordsman Type

Typical. Damage reflect ALWAYS gets messed up in translation. They get "% reflect" and "% chance to reflect" mixed up all the time. Same as how "neutral monsters" often means formless race instead of neutral element.

And now how they will resolve this bug if I do not know precisely the effect of the weapon? I can not send a ticket without knowing the sword.

I think this is the right effect. Tank someone like a berserk guitar bard with CD, then check the reflect rate from that.

This is a bug for sure.
100% chance to reflect 20% physical damage and does not work against magical attacks.

We are testing this now. This is the most up-to date translation of the item's effects

*Stats during WoE & PVP
Increases damage to enemy players by 80% and bypasses 30% Def.
If refined to +6 or higher, increases physical damage to enemy players by an additional 40%.
If refined to +9 or higher, has a chance of reflecting damage of physical and magic attacks.

The sword is not working properly.
% reflect and % chance to reflect mixed
No reflect magical attacks.

also tested the bellum glaive. reflects physical damage at a 100% rate but it doesnt reflect magic at all. ive had someone cast firebolt on me for like 10 min and it never got reflected.


btw doug, it would work like a maya card so it wouldnt reflect any 3rd class skills/aoe skills

They get "% reflect" and "% chance to reflect" mixed. That sword cast magic mirror skill then reflects any magic attack.

Magic Mirror

Description: For 30 seconds, the monster will have a fixed chance to completely reflect magical damage (including area of effect magic). Skill Level Chance to Reflect
1 20%
2 40%
3 60%
4 80%
5 100%

I don't think aoe magic damage can be reflected

The sword is similar to Maya card only single target magics that have a chance

This bug was not fixed yet:

"% reflect" and "% chance to reflect" physical attacks mixed.
