Forgive me if this has been talked about but i've been out of the loop for around 9 years

Why doesn't iRO gravity buy these two out or merge them into the company? Put up a couple ads on the webpages and bob's your uncle a joint venture that slowly creates steady profit. Then new hardware for Classic? So much traffic through those two sites it's a great bonus for advertising.

Maybe because Korea doesn't approve it or they're trying to get their dev to come up with something similar/better,

You also need to remember both of these websites run on Bots. Bots that gravity is kindly "Looking the otherway" for. Buying them out would be cutting it pretty close to saying "hey, botting is okay, as long as it's our bots".

Official bots would require an official program though, so the current system of Ragial would need to be scrapped, and overhauled.
