I actually got 16 boxes last night from less than 1 hour in a highly mobbed dungeon that hasn't been overrun yet. It's not impossible to have 74 of them if you were hunting all yesterday.
Though I prefer to blame botting.

as the boxes themselves diminished in value extremely quickly relative to keys, to the point where boxes were nearly worthless due to overfarming.

They're really not that hard to get. The witch hunts are becoming tiresome. They could easilly just have a good farming spot, be selling for themselves + friends, or just managed to con a bunch of people into selling to them even lower.

Bots actually don't kill fast.

I think what the GM team is saying is pretty clear. They might pretend otherwise, but I think that they really don't care about the botting thing that much. As long as they're making money, that's all that matters. This event kind of nails that proof fairly hard. But since it's not concrete, some people will still continue to pretend that the GMs actually care about botters. Works in so many games. Ban a few bots here and there every now and then to make it seem like something is being done. When in reality, the cash cow just keeps getting milked more and more.

So yea...have fun complaining about botting and all that. It's not going to get fixed because the GMs really don't care about it.

Gratz event Nerfed when i want to make box, now its mission impossible for make more than 10 box. Event is close ...and server down all time good.

This is a sales event, it was thought that getting 5 items for cheap, instead of 1 item for $3.00 would have been liked, this vs lucky box. The point was to encourage playing, trading and someone to make purchases so that we can keep the game running. The silver items are in the gold box, but you get more than 2x the value from the gold box because you get more, in addition there are more hat items in the gold box.

I think in the future we may not put hats in that box so we don't have problems with too many hats on an account clogging up storage. Or sell the same hats at the same time so that those that don't like "random" don't have to random they can just acquire their heart's desire. Making the hats tradable would not be in line with long term goals of those hats existances.

I do understand the lvl 10 cookbook thing, we will work on this. Making a rental book would be 1 solution, but it would have to be untradable which may not work unless a separate book was made to work. Having a tradable rental is a bad thing from a scamming standpoint.
