Remove the replay b/s patch please

1- Gravity error (nospan.dll)
2- Bellum Kaltzbager/ Bellum Buster is not being dropped.
3- Vellum Claymore does not reflect magic attacks (I sent a ticket. No response.)
4- Teleport Bug
5- The same old bugs (For example, dragon howling not reducing dexterity, tested and is not reducing flee also).

idk about valk.. but they are being dropped on ymir. i see them vending. so maybe they just arent being vended and your not getting them? idk but they are being dropped

it works like a maya card so it only reflects targeted magic i think

Boxter please and if possible fix MVP summoner it's still buggy
50% of the time my other char can't get in and once it summon the wrong MVP ( i was summoning tao and valk summoned). Bummer

What about the castles roll back in valk server?? i cant see any castle rolled back as was announced during woe and even the castles was closed before 40mins of WOE end..so when is it gonna get rolled back??

This is the first time i use the forum to post about RO maintenance.

I would like to request a serious maintenance to fix the extreme lag that started on december 2011. It is normal to have lag on a online game, but this is not funny when you can't move, it is the reason why people get tired of this great game. I know is not only me, other players from different countries have the same issue, i close all programs, i even bought a new PC that exceed RO requirements and is not working.

Please let me know why are we having problems to reduce the lag. Maybe there is something we could do to help.

Connecting from outside of the US is always going to net you some latency, "lag", as you put it. You realize that it may not be Gravity that is having the connection issues or the server issues, but one of the many hops you're going to make from where you are to California? Have you ever ran a Traceroute? (open a command window, type: tracert 74.125.255.8) You want to make sure you're connecting to Google in California and not to an offsite that they have in your country. If there's a huge spike in latency (meausred in ms, then you know what the problem is.

Due to the complete loss of office connection during the evening we were not able to prepare the castle rollback in time for the maintenance. We have been working on that this morning, and will have more to announce on that soon.

I can't find where it has been said if the VIP bonus boost was taken out or not, can anybody provide some clarification on this?

Also was there anything else introduced during this maint other than what is in the OP? ie: the "and more?!" or compensation for down time?

you could probably find that out by asking a VIP to check the numbers at the top of their screen and see if it shows 50% or 100%

They said the bonus vip effect would end today after maint. (2 weeks ago). But yes, that thing is still shown on top of our screen. Is it really implemented still, I dunno, need someone to test it.

I already tried moving RO folder to different directories and etc and letting it patch but doesn't change anything =\

ok i have another idea this actually involved more than 2 seconds of thinking


so i did a search of the RO folder for instances of Thumbs.db
i found 15 instances of it
searching around a thumbs.db file is a file generated by windows to show a thumbnail view of images in a folder.. which have nothing to do with RO BUT!!! might have been included in the client by accident
99% of them are hidden

15 instaces of thumbs db in my RO folder

Program Files (x86)\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\skin\ <--- inside each skin folder i had a thumbs.db <all hidden>
Program Files (x86)\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\PatchClient\ <--- inside this folder is the skin for the client <not hidden>

sooo.. heres my idea

folder -> Tools --> folder options --> View Tab --> (o) show hidden files/folders/drives <--enable this
then go to the GRAVITY folder click on the Ragnarok online Folder and type Thumbs.db in the search window at the top right of the folder

when it locates the Thumbs.db's in your RO folder highlight them all

now here is where you troubleshoot in that properties window try each of the following trying ro re-run RO after each change to see if any work
1. check and uncheck both hidden and Read-Only then re-check both and select Apply
2. check and uncheck both hidden and Read-Only then re-check hidden and select Apply
3. check and uncheck both hidden and Read-Only then re-check Read-Only and select Apply
4. check and uncheck both hidden and Read-Only then select Apply

theres another possibility..

when the patch was compiled they didn't realize they had thumbs.db in some weird obscure folder
sooo
take 1 of the thumbs.db files and copy and paste it into EVERY SINGLE sub-folder in the RO folder!!!
