We have been working for some time now on preparing all that is needed for us to launch Dragonica again. Localizing the new Paris Strikes Back update, getting all of the data migrated from THQ*Ice, setting up the website and getting all of our ducks in a row, while internally testing and making sure everything is ready for live service. During the process for us bringing up for service a game that is developed overseas we make sure to put a lot of effort into the localization processes. This is probably the biggest portion of preparation in terms of hours that we go through on any of our games. With Dragonica we started looking at the legal side and making sure that the name is registered and that Barunson Interactive and Gravity Interactive would be clear in legal terms. Well this is where we ran into a bit of a hiccup.
Dragonica is already registered in the US, by a musician that goes by the name Dragonica. So this gave us an opportunity to review the name and the trouble of trying to fit it in before we launched our live service. Barunson Interactive and our staff went through a long list of possible names. What was suggested and what we feel in love with and are happy and excited to announce the new name and look:
