hey, not sure if anyone has done this on this server but most servers ive played on have made mods for certain gear, either completely replacing the look of a weap or changing the color scheme.

was wondering if anyone who has the "know how" could take the lvl 120 solider hat (plate helm) and change the color of the hair from red to purple ;p to go with kurash set.

there is something called Hair Dye Coupon for 50 item mall points , when you click on it , it gives you options for the color you want

At OP. This is a unique request. I have the tools to do this yes. But providing links, services or tutorials on client modification is strictly prohibited. What I'm really saying is I can't help you and neither can anyone else. If you want to have that mod bad ebough you'll have to figure out how to extract the items texture and recolor it. Then put it back into the game by yourself. Note it will not show up on anyones screen other than your own. Good luck

Is this not possible with Genesis FS? I mean for client side it's just a simple DDS mod I don't see what the big deal is.

I suppose that is true, however I've never needed to touch GenFS yet, so maybe I'll give it a whack, and see what comes of it.

Nevermind, the directory for making a mod to change the appearance of the healm's color is restricted. Could I make a mod to edit it? Yes. IS it allowed? Nope. Therefore this mod is not available for me to post, hence putting it right back to spot 1, her/him needing to figure it out themselves. lol

For the most part yes that and other controls, or DLL's that you code. It really depends how in depth you want to go.

I'm hoping onceI get used to this software, to code a plug-in so I can see other peoples HP without them being in my party. Or perhaps even have a window pop up with the target info, like Name, HP, MP, Level Etc.

Be interesting if they even allow that at all, would have PVP implications would it not? I know on mobs I time my skills based on remaining HP.

Yup, but honestly, there's no reason to NOT see your enemies HP. And there's a dozen whys why you SHOULD see your enemies HP. Plus there's no restrictions on self made DLL's as long as they are not malicious viral or break the Terms of Service. Making a DLL to provide a window showing your enemies HP/MP name and level isn't gonna break any of those.
