Now that the Kagerou & Oboro Update is round the corner, I have decided to start a Ninja.
I know that there are basically 3 Builds : Throw Kunai, Magic & melee.

Throw Kunai seems to be the most viable option as they deal good damage & also are inexpensive..
Everyone says Magic build seems to have died out with the exception of few magic ninja players..
Melee : sort of hybrid, but hard to level..

My doubts :
1. Is it true that male Ninja have to turn into Kagerou & female ninja to oboro ??
2. Is it true that kagerou has more skills relating to physical damage while oboro has more magical attack skills ??
3. If answer to both above question is yes, can anyone suggest how to build my male ninja ??
4. I was thinking of going in the throw kunai direction..which skills are must for this build & which skills should i avoid ??
5. for throw kunai build, are these stats okay ??:
STR : 80
VIT : 90
& the rest in INT ??
6. Any idea whether there'll be a free reset for ninja once this update is rolled off ?? :)

Thank you.:)

really it doesnt matter how you build your ninja right now...since we dont know how the current skills will be nerfed or the exact mechanics of K/O skills trying to build for 2nd class at this point seems kinda of pointless... especially since we dont even have a solid release set for them yet... as for kunai type buildsonce you get CSS and throw kunai both maxed out nothing else matters... get high vit and high str so you have good hp and can carry a good amount of kunai... get a bit of int so your sp doenst drain away... luck and agi are fairly useless at this point for ninja.. and dex isnt need at this point for kunai (tho in theory throw kunai will be dex based damage after the Kagerou/oboro update)

1) Yes
2) No. The difference between them is that one has debuffs, the other has buffs, as far as I can tell. They both have the physical and magical attacks
3) Not enough information, physical damage builds seem a good bet, and obviously, save that free reset!
4) Throw Kunai 5 - nothing else matters. On my second ninja, I didn't even use CSS. Getting some ninja mastery is helpful until you get lvl 30 (since it pains me to use SP items at lvl 2x)
5) 99 str, 1 dex, 30-40 int. Everything else is your choice. Both my ninjas have tons of unspent points - I was leveling so fast I didn't have time to put points into stats.
6) All chars on renewal servers get 1 free stat+skill reset

Leveling a ninja is so ridiculously easy once you get throw kunai 5 and base level 30.

Stack your char with full offensive gear, and go almost pure str:
BSB, 3x carded glad, +5% range damage hat, porcellio armor (you don't need until 65 - I used a ninja suit with the accessory to reduce SP use, and of course your +9 HBP (Remember to RELOG when you add str past 90; bonus won't work until you do!).
Don't leave home without guarana candies (since you can't spare the headgear slot) and large HP potions (particularly at low levels).

At 30, start in overlook. You will 1-shot everything (if you don't, you're missing the gear listed above). Stay underweight, you can do it in 2 runs, no battle manuals, 1 hour total time in overlook, and you come out at level 80 with 6-10m in loot and rewards. Then, I did another 1 hour in Einbroch mine level 1 with 3x BM during the event took it to 99. Didn't use CSS because that kept pushing me back into claymores. Without the spotlight exp boost, you'd have to look elsewhere - but yeah, ninja is super easy to level.

~1500 each of wind and fire kunai it took, I think? Something like that.

Easiest chars I ever 99'ed.

Throw Kunai gets nerfed when Kag/Obo updates hits, so get your 99 ninjas ready.

I have TS at lvl5, Flip tatami at lvl 1, Tk at lvl5, dagger throwing at lvl 1, ninja mastery at lvl 1..( i am aiming TK build )
I am planning to get Ninja mastery to lvl 10 due to low sp issues..
I won't be using any other skill points other than mentioned above until Kagerou/oboro update hits us & i have clear view with what to do with my ninja/kagerou afterwards..

is there any other skills i should be getting ?? as of now, i am not interested in PvP/WoE with my Ninja..only monsters & if possible, MvP..:)

KS helps in killing some of the higher tier monsters... especially holy and shadow types (and poison types) since there isnt a kunai that can really deliver decent damage on those.... i enjoy using shadow slash 5 with a hiding clip since shadow slash has no after use delay... decent ninja can shadow slash and and then KS right away after......
