Hi!

I wanted to know what you guys think about Autocast Chemists. Irowiki had some info on it but it's too vague imo aside from mentioning Summon Flora. Bear with me, the only pre-homun build I really know is the one that gets leeched to 99 :heh:

Now, I've seen a lot of people use a High Orc-carded shield coupled with Moonie Dag or a Combat Knife to spam Revo endlessly, would it be any different if I slap on a Spellsword instead? does that even work? is it fun? awesomeness factor? I was thinking of stats along the lines of High Int, High-Moderate Vit, Moderate Dex and rest in Luk to improve brewing chances.

Some equips I could think of:
Rideword Hat/Kettle Hat
Fireblend/Ice Falc/B.Knight or Mutant Dragonoid - pretty much the point of the build
Buckler of Retaliation
Lord's Clothes of the Stix(LoliR - cause I have no idea XD)
Wind Ghost/Gazet/Owl Baron accessory

whatcha think? will it work? :p_laugh:

Autocast builds do not work well on classic - you can stack autocast gear onto an alchemist, but the damage contribution is not sufficient to provide acceptable exp/hr - it's not a viable build.

Without ROFL/ROR set, elemental sword and/or CD-in-mouth (none of which are available on classic), autocast builds are neither effective nor fun (proc rates are way too low, and damage is nothing exciting).

I see, I guess that's too bad then :( It sounded like a tempting build to see some fireworks fly but I did have my doubts as to "how much" it can actually do. Anyway, Thanks for the feedback!

Last question, are there some variations to the autocast build that may work? or is the Battle build the closest one to it that's viable?
