I started ROSE in 2005 and stopped in 2007, a year after the game went P2P. When ROSE came to steam I thought I would get started again, forgetting that I had given EVERYTHING away because I thought ROSE would remain p2p (which it hasn't). So down to the question at hand, how would I get decent armor/weapons without having to punch the moleys outside of Juno to death, because as I see it right now I'm in the vicious null zone where I can farm nothing because I have nothing to farm with because I can't farm anything. Also I'm a 74 soldier.

Edit: Also why the heck is the forums displaying my email? Really?

start by picking up all your drops (like chems/essences) and vend them or sell them to vendors if you're impatient. which server are you playing on?

Hihi, welcome back.

I recently just came back as well, after not playing for about 2 years. It was a long enough break where I didn't mind making a new char and starting over, so perhaps that's something you'd want to do as well?
With all the new players joining through Steam it probably wouldn't be too difficult finding people to party with if that's how you want to play.

I'm asking how much is each converted point worth in to tradeable cash shop items because the one that is stickied has broken bits of html everywhere.

quests. I have my main money account on Leonis but when playing on Draconis I have no money so I depend on doing mostly quests which pay you a good ammount and sell all of my chemicals to shops in town. When starting off without any kind of an Artisan that can craft your gear it could be hard getting decent gear because most of everyone is overpriced and you may find a rare gem of either someone that doesn't care about money or someone that has mispriced items but for the most part getting by at lower levels up to 160 you could probably get by with NPC bought refined gear.

or

You could do Valor quests which is killing those Modlies and gathering those points and buying the brave gear. It is not the best but for what it is and trying to get by it may server you well.

Good Luck!

oh, it's about 60:100 or 50:100 (zulies : IM points) in game, but it's not fixed. you can alter the rate to try and sell a little higher if you want.

Look around at the shops too. Some IM items sell for a lot more than you buy them for, keeping 60/100. In addition you can save your drops and sell to shops. A lot are buying chems, powders, hearts, etc. Also, pick up items and sell to NPC. do quests, some of the items are worthwhile, at least to you.

I still think Zulie should drop in game from at least level 1 - 100. It would really help out new people. But it doesn't right now.
