What he said ^

On the topic, how were Flying Evil Wings originally obtained? I was hoping to get these for Halloween this year since I hardly ever see these being sold...been playing renewal for a year now and I don't recall them being re-released, unless it wasn't a lucky box item?

FFFFFFFFF I WANT FLYING EVIL WINGS SO BADLY

It was in a Lucky Box ages ago. It was shortly after Yggdrasil's grand opening. I think it's about time for it to come back. NOW.

Edit: Also, is the Lord of the Dead Helm really that bad? I want to know before I attempt to +11 mine...

Also on a similar note, it would be pretty sweet if Alora took a +8 Cake Hat for the costume version that was available earlier in the year...I think I saw a topic on this too. That would count towards the best headgears for suras.

Morph's set gives you a -_-load of SP. Most would die to your Gfist if you use the Morphs set with a Bryn + Variant.

Everyone I asked said it wasn't worth using, not in the face of a FEW or CEB. >_>

The SP benefit is greater than the damage increase from Lord of the Dead Helm.

ATK*(8 + SP/10) + 1000

+9 Maestro Flying Evil Wing = 280 SP or + 28 towards that formula.

(ATK + Weapon ATK) x 1.15 = Bonus from Lord of the Dead Helm.

The 15% Bonus Atk won't help as much as ATK * 28 when considering damage.

+11 Maestro Lord of the Dead Helm vs +9 Maestro Flying Evil Wing.

The FEWs really should have made a comeback this Halloween but didn't for some reason.

Player Demand:

Usually what happens on big Lottery Boxes is that.. they release items that are currently on player demand.
They best example here is the Heroic Backpack..

not unless lots of people really posted here in this forums that they want the said wings.. only then they would release it.

Evil marching hat is more suitable for rangers and genetics than suras imo. But it could be a decent substitute for the flying evil wing if you can't get one at all means.

To top off the FEW vs. LOTD Helm, you can't wear a mid-gear with LOTD but you can with FEW (i.e. incubus carded mid-gear for even more damage).

I've also been wanting to get an evil marching hat as a substitute for FEW but those are hard to get too (although not nearly as valuable). I think it's a good thing is that I think it is useful for other classes so that it's a good investment if you play multiple classes.

Not really because it doesn't provide any SP bonus. It's FEW or go home.

Speaking fore purely just guillotine fist damage, will +5% physical damage bonus from an acolyte medal of honor be more useful than +5% max SP per Morpheus accessory? Also what about with Morpheus Shawl's +10% SP bonus vs. +9 HBP attack bonus? I'm still not entirely sure how damage and attack bonuses apply here.

By the way, you can card a +9 HBP with Aliot card for an SP bonus, but I personally would not do that.

Based on my sura FEW Vs. maestro evil marching hat. Evil marching hat actually gives more damage for GFist.
