Do not max AF but max out Katar Mastery instead.
Max Hypnotizer.
If you're not going to max blade forging then why get DSD? You should just leave DSD at lvl 2 for Log.
Don't lvl up Mist or Fly, Fly is going to get nerfed in the future patch which will give it a longer cool down.
Protect edge is crap.
Shadow Blade is horrible.

Meh, Ambush is going to get buffed, so I would get it to lv 5. Also, the Ultimate sucks, don't get it. I don't know about the other awakening skill, but it doesn't seem like a good skill; I wouldn't get it either. Also, Mist is nice, lv 3 would be fine.

Ambush is INSANE after the patch. Especially in low-level PvP. Tears people uuuup.

Although the new buffed Ambush is fairly nice (DPS wise), there's one problem with Ambush.
When maxed, it launches the enemies (PvP) too high, usually they'll go off screen making it difficult to chain combos after.
I've encountered this issue when I was going against an experienced player.
Whenever I used Ambush (lvl 5), he easily countered with a cut down.
If your opponent is smart, they will just wait for the Fly and then AR while they're off your screen.
Also, like I've stated earlier, Fly is going to get nerfed; this will practically destroy Ninjas' Air combo.

i hardly ever use the basic thief skills so i'm gonna skip em when i get a reset, but ninja mode thing upgrades them doesn't it? are they woth getting?
