You should go to a water post in the east of the island and fill the bucket then back with biscuit and it will trigger the Clean the F..ing Star Candy job where im stucked atm because i cannot clean the second leg

You need to bring more buckets of water. 1 is not enough.

I was told (by another player) to bring 4 empty bucket, 6 full bucket, and 1 brush. So that's a good baseline.

Thx a lot, didn't know about the buckets to be acumulable, i went 5 fives to the pool in order to clean the first leg =_=

Now that the quest's fixed, I went ahead and took the 11 steps here, along with the rest needed to finish it, and made a guide on irowiki: http://irowiki.org/w...Malangdo_Island

Nothing really complicated about the quest, except for the part where you need both full and empty buckets. That had me confused for a while when I did the quest and threw 50 buckets of water on the arm before reading here that you need empty ones too.

There was a scripting issue that we found based on some reports we had this week which pointed us towards the dialogue error.

This will be resolved with the next maintenance.

Most people use A class coins for malangdo enchant, not seagod anger, due to the difficulty in getting it.

the guide says "Aqua Lord's Protection or VIP"

But I think you still need Aqua Lord's Protection even if you have VIP?

EDIT: I actually only tested the octopus, but it wouldn't let me in.

I have done the octopus and the culverts with VIP, without the special item, and it worked fine. If it isn't working anymore, we should get the GMs to fix it.

If you haven't noticed, accounts have been losing VIP-ness when logged in for a long time. You have to log out to login screen and log back in if it doesn't show the orange text at the top of the screen when you change maps. Make sure you hadn't "lost" the VIP when you tried that.

I don't think anyone has looked for whether there's a level requirement.

Eryu doesnt appear to be anywhere on the map.

http://www.divine-pr.../npc/22497/eryu   says he should be at 161,197 but he is not. The guide says he is south east of the respawn but the only thing south east of respawn is water.

The Cat Gamer quest script has a toggle that disables and enables the 4 NPCs [Eryu], [Stew], [Ketchup] and [Eff]. The timer does't seem to be set as some NPCs take only a few minutes to appear while others take a really long time, so make sure to choose the correct responses when speaking with each one of them. Keep checking back and forth between the 4 NPCs including the ones you have already spoken with till you get them all.

Thank you for the info. I have spent a few hours on the island and Eryu (or any of the others) still has not appeared. With your words in mind let us see what happens.

EDIT: So I alt-tab from this and Eryu is standing right where he should be.... o_O Still trying to find Eff though.
