Okay I have a few scenarios that need to be answered
S1. Okay so lets say a tank(swordy or any job true) uses provoke would assist monsters all target him? or just that one monster.
S2: Here is another one kinda having to do with First one. Lets say I had a tank gather assist monsters then I used fire wall and had him run through it so they would follow. Would I get the exp or would he? I am wondering if this tactic would work. I call it moths to a flame.
S3: Someone Casts lord of Vermillion in real life in new york city what would happen? (lol)
Last one is a joke first to is srs.
PS: Would any valk high priests like to help a new player out and buff and heal bomb me when I panic? :U
A1) If an assist monster that is not otherwise engaged sees other monsters of the same type attacking someone, it will target that person. Note that this means they won't assist until the monsters get into range to attack you, and they won't assist unless they see the monster, not the target. (you know how monsters have a range they're aggro in? If you're say on the edge of that range, and the monster attacking you is on the far side of you, hence out of aggro range of the other monster, it won't assist).
A2) You would get the exp, because you did the damage. However, depending on the monsters' AI, they might change targets and start chasing you.
A3) It would effect an area no more than a block in size. People would scream, and unprotected low level or individuals who aren't at full hp (kids, pets, elderly and hobos) might be injured, but healthy adults would just lose their hair and eyebrows. Even low HP int/luk classes like stock brokers and bankers should come out with just hair and wardrobe damage. Some windows might be broken, and it would leave soot everywhere - but that's about the extent of it. Honestly, having visited NYC, it would probably go unnoticed by most people there, drowned out by the street noise, and with the same yellowish orange color of streetlights, unless someone decided it was a terrorist attack. If you hadn't noticed, LoV does pretty crap damage.
