Hello everyone! I have asked this question many times, and people have answered me, but I still don't know why.
What to do first, SC or enchant? I want to upgrade my set now, but it's still advanced/special.
I heard that you need to have the higher SC possible to start enchanting, otherwise you'll end up loosing some defense, and I know this is true, but let's put an example.
I have a black dragon lord top for overlord. It's advance and +0, I get it to +10 and have an extra (example) 1000 def. Then I have a black dragon lord top for overlord. It's artifact and +0, I get it to +10 and it have an extra 1500 def.
My question is... When I SC the first top to artifact, it will recover the 500 def lost? (I know it increases but not if it will recover the full stats) or the second one will always have extra def?

This question has been in my mind for a while. I always thought to soulcraft first as it increases the base defense of the armor piece. But I do not think it matters. I may be wrong.

Yeah, you are right on that. It increases the basic deff. But at the end, when you increase the soul force, it increases armor base def and the upgraded one. That's why I am not sure.

To my knowledge the order doesn't matter and the end stats will be calculated the same, but I haven't experimented with this.
That said, if you intended to make a +20 legend item, I would think it would be best to Soulcraft it first, because the results of Soulcrafting are random and it will save you a lot of resources if you just can't get good soulcraft options if you soulcraft /before/ spending 20 enchant levels on it. Those enchant levels are more or less the sure thing, they'll just raise the raw parameters a bit.
