I'm pretty sure almost all of you already know this but hopefully someone would find it useful since the cart quest is really a bit tedious.

=======================================================

First of all, make sure you have return scrolls for Junon and Adventure Plains. If you don’t, it’s going to be a long journey. Secondly, it will be a lot easier if you start collecting the parts much earlier before taking the quest. There are four ways to get the parts:

A. Purchase from [Valor Materials] Mason in Junon Polis using Valor or also referred to as ‘Valor Points’.

Valor is obtained by completing Game Arena dungeons (available from 120+) and associated daily quests, and quests from Union members (available from around 30+ but I’m not quite sure)

B. Get a dealer to create the parts for you

C. Buy them from Mildun at Junon Polis.
The parts that Mildun sells are basic yet functional cart parts and can cost you up to around 350,000 Zullies. However, these are often not used due to their slow movement speed compared to other carts. For a newcomer they are barely useful, but are mostly a novelty or as a last resort. Most players will likely attempt to get a cart crafted, or will purchase one from another player directly.

D. Purchase a the parts at the Item Mall

The carts on the item mall are purchased using IM points. In most cases, these carts are superior to those obtained through crafting.

  • Once you’re all set, head to Mildun and ask him for your license. He would scare you off and tell you that you can no longer get a license because of the negative effects that carts bring. But at any rate, stick to your stubborn self and persuade him to give you your license.
  • After his dialogue, go to Adventure Plains and talk to Mairard. He will then tell you the history of cart. Remember: the one who invented the mana engine is ANTHONY FLIGHT.
  • The next NPC to talk to is Luce in Kenji Beach. To go to Kenji Beach, head southeast of Junon and ask [Ferrell Guild Staff] Itz to take you there. The fee is 6000 zullies. Remember: The first one to consider when building the cart is the CART BODY.
  • Finally, go back to Mildun and get your license! But if you think the quest ends here, you’re wrong. Mildun would want to keep the recommendation and certificate a secret so he would ask you to have a clown bury them in the Forest of Kingdom. Of course, you have to beat enough fighter clowns to hide all the evidence. Sounds easy?
  • Unfortunately, killing those clowns is not as easy as it sounds. So don’t lose hope if the scrolls have not yet disappeared after killing around 20 of them. It would take a longer time but you will get there soon. You just have to be patient.
  • After destroying all the evidence, go back to Mildun, get your license, and be thankful that you’ll never have to do that quest ever again—Well that is if you are not going to make a new character

If you think you’re better off without carts, you can always just stick to mounts… at least you wouldn’t need to do the quest in order to use them. Mounts are obtainable at various points of the game from quests, monster drops, and through the Item Mall.
