I dropped the mixed nella/65 set for 66 3/6 hp enchanted. Don't lose too much damage (can still solo), but gain alot of hp/mp to keep me going from pull to pull and when Terms of Service misses.

After the project is completed i'll buy a 65 foc set and see what its like with curse xeons.

I hated when I had to swap to my 66 set that was 5/5 and 6/6 HP enchanted...lost like 10% crit and a bunch of scad just so I could eat 1 more stun.

Can you solo effectively in a 65 FOC set packed with IM Curse xeons? Or will you get beat up too much each pull/missed tick? I'm interested in this now.

Any defiler can get killed from a failed Terms of Service. But I use 55 Nella and 65 head and shoulders. Some with Ion curse and some with svs 3-3 xeons. I'd say I can solo effectively but honestly how often do most people solo? They're usually in a party grinding or in PD. And PD is a breeze so yeah.

edit: ...I do also have a +7 Alosa though...so I have more def/hp/mp from that...

I use the attack power + cs costume. More nomnomnom when Terms of Service works, and i can't afford an svs costume like alosa points wise xD.

So, I was thinking full 65 FOC for the additional skill crit on it (directly and through mnd, however little it is). Would +15 Nella and + 10 65 (helm/shoulder) like I had used before and Coors suggested be a better choice for this experiment?

If you're just talking pve grinding then this is all you need...

An FoC suit enchanted with curse damage like this:

Earings enchanted with HP like this:

Rings enchanted with Evasion like this:

An attack power of the infinite enchanted with curse damage like this:

For the rest of your jewels just cram as many curse damage xeons as possible in them like this:

and this:

Any questions?

I dunno, I've never seen a defi solo in JS... So all I can say is that it takes me an average of 40 seconds to kill a single JS mob solo.

In premium dungeon I can crit mobs for about 3.2k which I consider max. In JS it's about 1.8k.

My total curse damage in that suit is 162 - 162. Tack onto that our mastery bonus of 20%.

Yeah I'm not a crit-_-, my crit rate in that suit floats around 35%. However all the crits in the world won't save you when you are forced to vamp touch tank because your CC skill missed.

You might actually need one when the new content is released since rumor has it that the mobs will actually use skills and not just AA.

I would like to try this set http://requiem-wiki....iki/Despair_(S2)

and unless u are going all the way on jewels like bob, just put in a little ion crit. I think I would still choose crit over dmg though

So despair really is the better set, I'm disappointed (s2 despair, since s1 despair is unattainable). Time to start farming then, cause CON + SCAD = joy compared to CON+MND.

Yea damage-wise seems better. The only reason for using 75 set would be for a mp/mp recovery boost (afaik).
