Ahh thanks. So would it be wise to card a +12 nid with giant whisper? And why would other suras still use hbp?(besides to greed)

Nid grab is failure if u compare it to a +9HBP , +30Attack>+185SP (170 Nid + 15 RisingDragon)

Edit- Unless you use a +12Nid with Aliot Card with SP increase pots. Nid with Aliot card or HBP with Giant Whisper is a good combination.

It's supposed to be upgraded, if he plans on putting GW on it Nid is better. since it gives both

Also with Variant shoes your SP will boost because of the flat additional SP from nid

+12 nid would be better with Aliot Card. GW isn't really that much good. You can make up for the ATK bonus with impo / Power of Odin buff

The damage is gonna depend on how much your SP your gonna stack up. If with Nid and aliot and rest assume if your SP is gonna hit 3k (not including Bryn) and w/o nid and aliot your SP would be around 2.7k, in this situtaion +9GW HBP would do more damage than the nid. If your a Bryn User i'd suggest using Morph and Sp Pots with Incubus Pet. You can hit around 6k SP.

But Regarding Nid and HBP its' gonna depend upon how your built and gears are and how much SP difference can you but between them.

EDIT - +12NID is ONLY +170 Maxsp and +9 HBP is +30 attack, so just comparing garments +9HBP>+12NID. So, unless you can put a major difference in SP between the two, +9 HBP will help you in getting more damage Output than the +12Nid.

Also, a +14 Nid with aliot would be better than a +9 HBP with aliot/gw, right?

It's hayroh's and yes this thread is for gfist mvp build, at least that's what the title says. Also that's how I want my build to be and my question was directed towards RoyalHeritage as he was pointing out that the best garment depends on build.

Hayroh's stat build is pretty much balance for MVP-ing and WOE, I like it too. That additional Incubus pet SP boost too from Royal is awesome. Now I need to uber-grade my stuffs again for my Sura.

That built leans more towards WoE than MvP, but if that's what your built is gonna be, +9 GWHBP will be best for you.

Str - 115
Agi - 1
Int - 110
Vit - 91
Dex - 45
Luk - 40

No excess points. I also wanted to make a Sura for MvPing. Currently these are my only good gears:

+7 Hot-Blooded Band
Blinker
Pirate Dagger
+7 Nyd [1] (Clean, thinking of Aliot/Raydric)
Variant Shoes
+7 Thorny Buckler [1] (Thara Frog Card)
Very Very Strong Sword Mace

I'll upgrade my gears whenever I will gain more zeny from selling stuffs. Do you think my stats are good?

You absolutely have to replace the weapon with a carga. That'd be the first thing i did even if its uncarded. +7 or +9 carga, if you can +7 it +9ing it when enriched hammer comes out should be fairly painless as it's a level 3 weapon.

Even if you have two Megs, is it not better to use one and a phen D. Ring so you can wear Bryn over Orleans Gown? Im not sure if +12 aliot Nid or +9 GW HBP is better, but if the damage is similar enough I'd lean towards HBP just for the ability to Greed without relying on scrolls. If you're wearing Bryn though I'd have to imagine the Aliot Nid would win out.
