No, I have no idea what that is.

It lets me login, I meant to say when I try to create a character. I create a character, doing the stats and naming it. Then after I click to make the character, it ends up disconnecting from the server and I get that error message.

Oh, you are using the wrong client. You must use ClassicRO.exe to play on the Classic server.

Oh okay, I didn't see any other downloads on the main website. You know where I can find ClassicRO.exe?

okay new problem I click ClassicRO in the Ragnarok folder, but it brings up the setup screen and won't let me get passed it. I click, but it keeps coming back up.

run it as administrator.

To interrupt the endless loop:

• Press control-shift-escape to open Task Manager.
• Open the "processes" tab.
• Select either Ragexe.exe or clragexe.exe in the table.
• Press "end process" and then confirm the action.

To prevent the problem from recurring, always open the clients using the following method:

• Right-click the appropriate shortcut.
• Choose "run as administrator".
• Answer the User Account Control dialogue window affirmatively.

After I posted I moved ClassicRO to my desktop, the patch cilent came up. Seem like it was working but at the end of the patches where it does "repacking resource files" it stopped working. Message came up that it stopped working, asking if I wanted to go online to find a solution & exit the program or just exit the program. I'll try running as administrator to see if that works.

edit: run as adminstrator didn't work

The regular RO works (didn't need to run as adminstator) and I was able to create a character on valkryie server and moving around in game. So not sure why that works but not ClassicRo won't work at all.

Okay moved ClassicRO back to folder, clicked it and it said patches were done. I was able to click start, three characters I created with the regular cilent are there. I'm able to play as a character in the game. Not sure why its working now, not that I care why, just glad it works. Thanks for all your help.

One last question, how do I play full screen on ClassicRO? The settings work for the regular RO, full screen is checked and resolution set to my laptop resolution, but for ClassicRO it won't go full screen.

run setup.exe as administrator. You cannot move classic client out of the RO folder as that'll prevent you from patching.
