Penetration Shadow Pendant 
Adds 5% physical defense bypassing on all monsters. 
Each 2 refines increase physical defense bypassing on all monsters by 1%. 

Penetration Shadow Earring
Adds 5% physical defense bypassing on all monsters. 
Each 2 refines increase physical defense bypassing on all monsters by 1%. 

(Racial) Shadow Weapon
Adds 5% physical defense bypassing on (race) monster. (Except player type) 
Each 2 refines increase physical defense bypassing on (race) monster by 1%. (Except player type) 


[+ Penetration Shadow Pendant & Penetration Shadow Earring
ATK + 5. 
If the amount of the entire set of refine is equal or superior 25, adds complete physical defense bypassing on (race) monster.(Except player type)

Simple math.

10% damae increase vs boss monsters(wich is the item you are talking about) will increase in your atk status. Lets say you have a weapon with 200 atk, 100 str and 200 atk from equipment. This would give you 300 weapon attack and 200 equip attack, a total sum of 500. This 10% comes here, giving you 10% based on your attack its now giving you 50 atk, so then you have a total of 550 atk.

For defense penetration is quite simple too. Lets supose an enemy with 200 def. This gives you exactly 20% physical damage reduction. So, if you were suposed to hit 10k, you only hit 8k. But now if you pierce this defense your attack would deal a whole +25% overall damage than it normay do (8000 +25%=10000). You got it now? If the enemy has 50% physical reduction, piercing this defense makes you do double the damage, and the overpowerness just keeps increasing. What do you think its more powerfull, some extra atk to calculate your damage or increasing your damage as a whole?

And alche pets that automate endure effect which is another mvp card effect.

We have a +5% shadow gear, not +10%.
 
Also I don't think the bonus damage from STR is affected by weapon +% race/element/size cards.
 
Also the 10% ATK effect on Bryn is incredibly weak =/ the main features of Bryn are the +SP and DEF of the item. Bryn and , say, Megingjard, are nowhere near on the same level. Megingjard adds something closer to +50% damage overall when you add everything it does together.
 

We also got a +12 gear that gives moonie effect.
And alche pets that automate endure effect which is another mvp card effect.
But that seems fair to the community..

5% damage shadow gear** The only 10% is the Liberation Set... But guess what, AK card is still 1,5 times stronger and costs 40~50 times less :3

These are luxury items, that dont make that great difference unless you are already godly tier geared, even so they dont make due to RO mechanics

Does the safeguard shield add damage? My liberation boots only said 5% unless I misread it.

gives 3% exp and adds 5% extra damage when wearing the set

 

When equipped together with Liberation Shoes Shadow and Safeguard Shield Shadow, 3% exp increase when hunting boss type monsters 5% extra damage.

I did read it. And from what i understand its 10%. exactly like a bryn cept the race. *idk if the other sets have 10%*

But there's a +12 boot that gives moonie effect. Its like a Boot[moonie][Whatever you wanna place here]

And a pet, omg a pet thats automated to give endure effect.

These items dont change yr main gear.

But it seems to be accepted via community, but when someone wished for a certain mvp in the summoner it was a whole pack of crap, bout the market value and vs others.

Your homun has to be alive to cast PK on you

 

PK also works like an Anodyne/Endure 7 hits, then you're back to flinching. Eddga, never fliches ever, I would be pretty impressed if you can show me a vid where someone using PK performs the same as wearing Eddga,

 

and please please try that on Faceworm queen poison cloud and lmk how that goes

That pet is automated, and has a mvp carded effect. And yes surely it must be alive to cast.

Faceworm is just 1 instance. There are many other things in game. And with a walk spd that no class have and a Eddga effect with a MS kinda effect. Yet you ppl has fight down a different shadow gear.

Never had a moonie, why is it greater?

Is those better than the gear that gives moonie effect?

Cause to me its a gear like this shadow that the community will kill themselves over not to gain, yet its another mvp effect.

The skill does not have 100% up-time like the MVP card. Also, it's not an MVP effect. It's the effect of a consumable everyone in the entire game has access to.

It just uses again when the skill runs out, regardless if the endure effect already went off.
