Hey, all.

We are aware that many of you are experiencing issues or problems with the launch, and wanted to address certain specific ones.

First, if you have an issue, the best method to get it addressed is to submit a ticket. If you have never submitted a ticket previously, here is a guide that will show you how:

After opening the patcher I receive;

CreateFile
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect
IP addr: 64.94.115.16



After I hit OK I then get;



Error
error : Failed Update patch

and the client closes.

Yesterday i opened and played till level 10 then off, today i got this.

Hi! Could you screenshot this so I can get it to the right people? I've seen this issue come up a few times already and haven't been able to re-create it for us to fix. Thanks!

Nvm.. xD;; I thought something happened but I just restarted the client~ Same prob happened to my friend and in the US! =_= ...

I'm getting this error too. I'm an expat in China, was able to play fine last night until I went to bed. Now I'm getting this error trying to open the client.

Found a solution for our problem guys,

Uninstall
Reinstall
Repatch
Run game
Play game. yea it would take time

(tried the copy paste, didnt work) only repatch worked for me. :) just sharing incase some are still having this problem ^_^

in case you guys havent see it i post this solution for The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect at the tech support board

i got the game runing by using this method, i dont know how to do this without reinstalling the game since i already reinstall the game when i try this method
i assume this is after you reinstall the game
download the manual patch from this link that is provided by a user name genuch on this forum

extract the content into your patches folder inside the Rangarok online 2 main folder
delete the content of your MD5FileList.txt no need to make it read only then try starting your game and let it patch, test it myself and it work for me.

Thank you for actually honouring and restoring the items to those affected by the whole "deleted my character and lost beta rewards" thing.

For some reason I can load the game perfectly.. but when I try to use the Trade Chat.. nothing happens. I assume it's level specific.. but if so it doesn't say anything in system about it.

BTW, I'm lvl 10 sooo tell me if I'm close~

:C i can't create a RO2 account at WarpPortal, yes i did have an account at WP, i did press the register RO2 there,
but it show this msg> You are not allowed to view this content.
i'm from malaysia anyone help here?

Don't know why you bumped up a thread that's two months old, but you have to make a Warpportal account first (see here: https://support.warp...er-account.aspx)

Then you login to your Warpportal account and add a new game account for RO2 (see here: https://support.warp...warpportal.aspx)
