Sorry bros, but I would not take Fiberlock over Vacuum Extreme. Mostly because my Proff skill points are way more precious than my Sorcerer points, as amazing as that may sound. I've reset over 5 times now, and I must say that I've tried pretty much everything.
My goal is PvPing with that Sorcerer, and depending on the target, Spellfist will do 12 damage. That's right, you do less damage with spellfist than you a plain rod. Apparently, the soft mdef from INT reduces damage in a major way. I keep hindsight close, and sage/proff support skills even closer. Stuff like Dispel, Speak Breaker, Magic Rod, Wall of Fog, Soul SYphon, and many others are sometimes more useful than any Sorcerer skill.
Being a full battle sage is silly and impossible if you intend on having any sort of usefulness outside PvM. You have to go Caster to some length to adapt to each enemy.

You can't expect to do damage in pvp as a spellfister if you don't know how to juggle elemental weaknesses.
When you lock, freeze, stone curse another player you basically temporarily change what element they are weak too
and you need to follow up with the correct element of spellfist each time all the while keeping them misted so they
can't retaliate.
My one problem with vacuum extreme is that it won't stop snappers and backsliders.
