http://forums.warppo...-update-071311/

Convenient, just in time for the last movie release, ...

and i dont know how many times i have to say it, make something extremely expensive to buy, and only available with zuly. Look at my purple link and click 'show' under Inflation Fix

Was kind of expected though, with Jack Sparrow and Transformers coming before it :D

Keep your eyes open for Sherlock Holmes (12/2011) and Batman costumes (7/2012) :)

I'd rather see IM stuff that would be a bit more ROSEish, in all fairness! But these Harry Potter costumes looked alright, and they'll certainly appeal to their own audience I guess.

Yeah, that's what I meant when I said that it would be impossible to implement in a reasonable way. The best solution would indeed be a zulie drain aimed at the high levels, such as Feuer's suggestions!

The best solution would be... erm... set server on DOUBLE DROP forever + increase drop rate & quantity rate of chem & dirty heart. Sure gem[7] will be cheap. everything cheap. :D

Fail, that would just ruin the game, however if gems were cheap and armor had to compensate,...there's an idea, TELL ARTISANS TO STOP CHARGING AN ARM FOR A GEM! [right after they fix the drop table and Oprah returns to live TV]

If you really want to target the richest players there could be two other possible ways;

1. Temporarily tax UW entry
Every UW participant must pay, say 250,000 zulie (1.5mil per char. drained if player wars for 12hrs a day; not yet calculating the cost of their leechers if they have any). Indeed the low levels would be discouraged to join, hence the reason why this should only be temporary (eg.a month).
The only problem with this may be union gears increasing in prices.

2. Charging to enter sikuku ruins at the start of every month (like OT)
Only higher level players have access to this map, and most likely the desperate rich farmers will pay for this monthly entry fee

Please correct me if my logic is wrong (I am no great economist)

Double drop event has ended. People start selling chem/dirt heart at "before event" price. Artisan start to compete buying chem/dirt heart at higher price. It's not an artisan fault that gem[7] were so expensive due the demand and failed rate.
Suggest: Please fix drop table. We need Enthiric and Hermes for better success rate to craft gem[7].

And it would not ruin the game. ROSE Online (Hebarn server: drop rate x 30) is the most populated. and market price were just fine and everything cheap. :D

Just my opinion. Sorry if im wrong. :)

Oh my...my UW leechers all lv 160 above..250 000 zulies is nothing to me..why? Each UW would give you at least 30 pts..1 union bindrune would costs 2.4m

If you do so..This would push union stuffs into higher price...inflation problem worsen

This was my solution to the economy make a zulie per kill system. Shouldn't be to hard. There is no way to earn zulie anymore whats in game is ingame if you wanted to drive the prices down follow the the US government produce more money out of the air. And they could also make 2 new IM medals one for double zulie for a half hour and one for an hour. Would also make double zulie hours worth something if the wanted to bring them back. At the current rate no one really sells to npc which is the only outlet for new zulie and the match they made ages ago made that happen because npc's don't give you anything for stuff anymore.

The reason artisans charge an arm and leg for gems now is due to inflation. The mats to craft gems have gone way up going on the average price of 50k per chemical a gem should cost about 55mil and thats not including hearts and gems that may need to be bought. If you want gems to go down sell chems cheaper I mean they do drop more than they ever did.

I was thinking that both options are targetting the draining of zulie out of the economy; not exactly inflation

But isn't the whole reason people wanna drain the economy for assisting in getting rid of inflation?

Remove hp/mp potions in crafting table and transfer it to NPC and sell it with a price like 100k ~ 250k each (red pots). This may help reduce money in the economy a little :D

Didn't say it was a perfect solution but it's somewhere to start and aoe class still are the rich ones they ks all the good farming spots not much of a difference. Could compensate other classes with better UW rewards so it'd be eaiser for them to get the gear to sell to the rich aoe classes.

Fixing an economy is like a game of chess always gotta have the next move ready.LOL

Yeah right... as if there is nearly anything useful to craft beside Pots/Ammo/Gems. I think Crafters are nerfed enough already. So stop giving them ideas to destroy Artisans even more.

There was this trouble in another game I played(On a MUD if anyone knows what that is).

You know a good way to zulie drain? Clan community items.

Put enough zulie up to a clan fund to get specific clan designed items made in-game(following guide lines ofc).

Capes, Outfits(maybe?), Off hands.

Maybe Clans could buy out NPC's business.

Clan A pays x amount to own the city of Junon. Crune will refine better for x% for clans who funded. NPCs will give a cheaper price for storage keep(or heck even free). For a certain period of time.

Different cities and towns could have different rates of owning the city. The less popular places will be cheaper but less benefits, the more expensive ones will cost more but give better benefits.

Deed items could be put up, and fought over for in Clan wars(if that ever comes out).

Just some ideas.

Edit: This will give your Item Mall game designers something else to do instead of IM Costumes all the time. This will help reduce zulie and also allow player created items to be appreciated in game.

Okay I hate to say this but mats raining from heavens remember when catalysts did prices plummeted. Another option is selling most mats at npc who'd pay more if you could buy it cheaper at npc.
