Yes, normal exp from each kill, and then the exp from the turn-in on top. It's once per 23 hours, though.

YES!!!
This is one of the best things about the new turn in's they are introducing each week. The monsters give Normal exp for killing, and also give normal exp for turn ins.
VIPs can also combine the exp to either Job or Base as well. (This was really needed for Trans Classes and even helped non-trans as well).
However there is a 24 hour Cool Down on the turn ins.

But I want to help my wife... In this case, the maintenance notes should be given in the sunday, to make time to teh people to do the quest~~~~~ omg
Or maybe steal my friend's access to Geffenia *Looks to Kei and grabs whip* D:<
And about Scarab 2. It would be better for a 135-150 turn, I think~~~~ Even so. Let's see how it works. I have nameless turnins to do~~~~ omg~
will the obb/opb update also include the 13.1 armors? such as alchemy glove? heim?

On Ymir, the chick hat is vendable at least.

Oh, GOD FORBID you have to do a QUEST in a freaking ROLE-PLAYING GAME.
The whining begins.
Not old ones , any purchases I believe before 2010 can't be vended.
I have 2 chick hats in my cart right now. I bought them ages ago.

I agree. Scarab 1 should be good up to 140. And I hope they post a list of the new add-ins to Gift Box, OBB, OPB!

Shouldn't really be that big of a surprise. And why does it matter? Honestly, im not whining just bothered a bit. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time so that way we dont have to waste a day trying to finish this quest first. Tbqh if it was any other quest i probly wouldnt have said anything, but this one is stupidly long to the point where you wan2 complete it in parts within a couple of day (meaning like 2 days). I mean imagin if someone has two or three characters in the 105-120 lvl range. That person would have to do this quest 2 or three times just to get them to the TI event.
Of course though i still will finish it (started the first part about 6 months ago). My friends tell me even though it is really really long the story for it is quite amusing. So even though im doing this for the TI quest im still looking forward to the story. Though if i wan2 do another character it might not be as fun and turn into a chore at that point lol.

See i am not this mad at it, more annoyed lol. Trust me ive dont a ton of the RO quest (thors, odin, SSQ, etc). Hell at one point i was thinking of making an additional quest to continue the story of Crow of Destiny (which ODA gave me the ok to try to do). I think what is annoying people isnt the quest itself, but the fact that all of a sudden they added in that you need to do a quest to just access the TI (it also doesnt help that said quest is 7 parts long lol).
Just realized. You could just use anyone who's already done it to open it for you.. A Dur.
And there is the solution to the problem

Honestly, even if you haven't done the quest, if you just stand by the Geffenia entrance for a few minutes, I'm sure someone will open it.

I have done ,,The Sign" Quest this weekend *lol!*
It took me 3 days to complete this quest!
1 day to collect all the stuff you need for the quest
2 days to actually do the quest and I failed A LOT (!) at the dance part and the ,,give anvil to me - i might brake it!!!!" part....
despite the fact that it needs a lot of time to do the quest (1 day) even if you do everything without one failure!
However you do not need to do the quest, just find somebody who have done it before and can open the door^^
