Hi everybody!
I'm preparing a build for hybrid Druid, with more focus on AA PvE and that could occasionally tanking and PVP. After searching for information related to skills, this is following build that i made:

http://kruxena.com/s...0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0

However, I have some questions:

1 - For someone who wanted to tank occasionally, is Giantizing lv 1 enough? I have the full HP Lab set

2 - Is Raging Strike lv 1 really necessary for a casual PVP build? Or can i skip that skill? I think the damage and magic attack gain in that skill very low

3 - I'm thinking about removing the skill Swift Leg and maximize the Doomguard or BattleMagician Stuns. Would it be a good deal?

Within the game, my character's name is Aron ^^ I'm Lv 75. Anyone that want to trade good equipment for Druidz, just pm me.
Sorry my bad English. I'm from Brazil.

Thanks!

  • I know for pvp it's handy to have 1 point in Absorbing Energy and Rage Strike to spam in there. It's not necessary of course.
  • Swift leg is really just a waste of points, you could use those points in other more useful skills.
  • You don't need to max the stuns really, they're good where they are. Also, I would at least make your Wave of Healing have 5 points;however, that's just me. I like to have my own heals.

I haven't really played so much with doomy since they played with druid, but ask Syre if you don't get help in that area.(Severed in game)

Hope that helped some.

played with ur build and edited it a bit

1 - max it, you can afford it.

2 - take it and AE and you'll find urself using them a lot

3 - yea drop swift leg and checked the changes I did to the build

Hi Severed!

Is Rage of Bugs really necessary? I don't know where to get more points

I've read that its usefulness is limited to keep the rogues out of stealth.
I do not hate them that much to spend 5 points in this skill only for that.

I don't use rage of bugs personally, some like it, some don't.
It's easy cont though, before when I did use it I liked it.
But, I prefer singling people out with stun locks, or at least having reliable stuns all the time(even though Korean math fails with miss rates)

My take on ray's build (edited)
http://kruxena.com/s...0,6,0,6,0,3,0,0
Bugs is a defensive skill. Not just for you but for your team. It destealths as well as knocks off range extensions. Now you said you wanted to be PvE oriented and we have spoke already. With an axe all you need is 3 in swift arm. You have a cad set so no need to pretend to be a spam druid. My build for you dropped double slash and bleeding. No reason to give you a traditional build because you want to pvp occasionally since you dont have skill crit jewels or a skill crit/scad set. For pvp you have inferno speed boost + slow skill to keep you on top of targets. Gravity is a skill none have used before but is a great anti-melee. If you play smart and with your team an AA build like this could work if you are bulky(high hp) enough. So for the sake of a PvP AA build a Tyrant axe may be better, BUT you said you only want to do it occasionally and are not serious about pvp, so what you have now is fine.

Vines is DoT healable however and would be useless in team matches against healing totems. So maybe you could try a few points in swift instead and with the 1 extra point put it in Invisible Arrow or Promise of trust. Also if you want to PvP you'll need 400+ cad and something like 60% crit rate for starters. Cap resistance of course, you can make use of your TB shield and the property resistance costume. Defense enchants in armor would be good for pvp. Good CON xeons for pve

is there any reason you don't take swift legs? or is it just bc inferno is already fast enough?

ah, hate when that happens
So for Aron
this http://kruxena.com/s...0,6,0,6,0,3,0,0

or

this http://kruxena.com/s...0,6,0,6,0,3,0,0

@Kratavan you won't stay in inferno long enough to make use of swift legs, it's a waste. Just keep spamming skills. Also not sure why I have 5 in doom for your build. It should look more like http://kruxena.com/s...,10,0,7,0,0,0,0

ok that makes sense, I was mostly thinking of it as an out of combat thing but even then I guess makes more sense to just pop inferno dash back to bm and approach. Also as I was trying different things out last night (practicing pvp with a friend) seems a lot like you cant really make an aa pvp build can you? just bc of having to switch out of inferno to restun and then his cd time. For one on one seems like you just invis arrow, inferno, ss, stun, switch out of inferno stun with flame ss doom guard stun ss etc?

And sorry for all the quesstions (:) Im normally a mystic so druids confusing) Since this is sort of battle magician with more stuns route whats type of jewels and weapon is best :S I know knuckles are nice for melee and have good magic damage tho as for jewels I can't tell if id get more damage off melee ones or magic ones since I spend about half the time attacking in inferno and the other half just shooting spells like an ele. sorry again for all the questions oh great druid sages :smooch:

If you are very bulky, maybe 11k hp+ with good resistance and very powerful AA power then you could make use of it in PvP. Still hard when you have to move close and your only defense in that form is a 24 second CD stun. In comparison, sin and zerk stuns are about 9 seconds CD and zerk is also equipped with fear. So with AA ya have to play very fwell with team. Still may be impossible in some cases though where caster gangbang means instant death

Hello again,

Thanks to everyone for the tips.

I bought a Knuckle of Control and I will transfer a Pride set for my druid. Now I need a build for both styles of play: AA and SSpam.
So, I came to this conclusion, to a full Inferno build and that has both playing styles.

http://kruxena.com/s...0,6,0,6,0,0,0,1

Some considerations:

I really enjoyed using Vine Thrown on the battlefield. Liked it so much, considering that I will not have the Doomguard, have raised the level of skill to 10. Arrow + Vines = You are not going anywhere.

Promise of Trust have raised to 10 to help my guild in raids.

Opinions, please:)
